This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Sr. Associate I, Field Technical Service Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for ensuring Alcon equipment at customer sites and demo equipment function effectively. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and manage installations and upgrades. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, analytical skills, and self-direction to drive project performance and innovation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborating with customers to provide technical and administrative support activities including repair, preventative maintenance and upgrades on Alcon surgical equipment within a geographical region, providing the highest level of service, increase customer happiness and achieve financial objectives.
Provide timely technical services on Alcon surgical equipment as required including phone support and onsite corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, installation, and other service related duties.
Communicate equipment problems, quality issues and customer concerns to the appropriate in-house personal within the established guidelines.
Expense management and perform duties within budgetary guidelines.
Strategically promote, educate and market Alcon services to customers.
Accurately handles company assets (Company vehicle, test equipment, computer, etc.)
Provides timely and accurate documentation on services performed.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

How you will contribute:
You will answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team.
You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures.

The OHS Technician is responsible for administering respirator fit testing, audiometric testing, drug & Alcohol Testing, and pulmonary function testing. In addition, the OHS Technician is a vital part of the OHS program as a whole.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain a working knowledge of all testing equipment which includes but not limited to respirator fit machines, pulmonary function machine, audiometry machine, and breath alcohol machines.
Calibrate all equipment at the beginning of each day in accordance with manufacturer's requirements. Additional calibrations may be required at other times according to manufacturer's specifications.
Inspect and repair all equipment as necessary.
Conduct periodic surveys of equipment and stations so that all safety and hygiene hazards to customers and Technicians are identified and corrected.
Complete all the administrative steps applicable to the equipment so that all required information is verified and properly recorded.
Administer respirator fit tests in full compliance with CFR 1910.134 Respiratory Protection Standard.
Administer all drug and alcohol collections in full compliance with 49 CFR Part 40 standards.
Maintain and develop customer relationships by responding to questions, concerns, and requests from customers with speed and professionalism.
Thoroughly disinfect and inspect each respirator upon completion of each test
Insure all customer data and paperwork is kept confidential at all times
Keep up to date with relevant safety topics, software and lecture and online training technology

* Ensures that patient's questions, concerns or contraindications are satisfactorily addressed, notifying physician when this cannot be accomplished, prior to the initiation of the procedure.
* Participates in the orientation and training of departmental employees.

* Reads email each day scheduled to work and follows through with assignment.

Quality control
* Produces acceptable images, as evidenced by maintaining a first‐time acceptance rate of 95 percent.
* Ensures that equipment is fully operational prior to each use, by checking for proper calibration and operating deficiencies.
* Completes all studies in RIS, images are oriented, marked, labeled, and noted correctly prior to sending all studies to PACS; prints CDs as necessary.
* When submitting procedures for interpretation comparative studies are digitized if necessary and the preliminary sheet is filled out in its entirety, if applicable.
* Maintain all documentation so that the facility meets ACR Accreditation standards.
* Technologist is knowledgeable in completing and documenting the following ACR/MQSA QC test: Phantom, Visual checklist, Repeat analysis, Compression‐pressure, compression thickness, flat filed test, calibration, Dicom printer test.
Operations
* Restocks linens and supplies, and maintains Mammography Department in clean and orderly condition.
* Transports patients, positions patients, and helps them on and off procedure table.
* Performs patient charging activities on the day the service is rendered.
* Applies shielding.
* Prepares and maintains patient follow‐up data.
* Willingly lends knowledge and assistance to others upon request as needed and routinely as time is available, without prompting, so that all working time is used for departmental advantage.
* Performs routine duties of clerical and support personnel in accordance with procedure when warranted to ensure continuity and quality of services.
* Keeps supervisor informed on all responsibilities on an ongoing basis, ensuring prompt notification in the event of problems or potential problems.
* Maintains an individual productivity rate equal to other co‐workers.
* Familiar with Mammography Tracking System.
* Maintains Joint Commission standards and any other regulatory agency standards
* Familiar with FDA/MQSA EQUIP program

The Polysomnography Tech 2, under the direction of the Manager, coordinates the daily operations of the Sleep Laboratory. Within this framework, responsible for monitoring and accessing Sleep Lab quality, policies and procedures, staff and equipment performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Performs polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations.
Scores studies and formulates reports for physician interpretation. Documents all pertinent patient events according to department policy.
Communicates instructions, results, and relative information to patients, physicians, and family members.
Calibrates and performs routine and troubleshooting maintenance on equipment, contacting manufacturers for repairs as needed. Notifies proper personnel for equipment problems. Cleans all equipment ensuring infection control.
Consults regularly with the Medical Director regarding patient studies.
Maintains standards for completeness of Continuous Quality Improvement and Quality Control measurements.
Orients and trains new Sleep Lab employees.
Establishes and implements performance improvements including education and staff development.
Communicates concerns and/or problems with possible solutions to the Department Manager or Director.
Maintains a current and complete Policy and Procedure Manual.

Required skills include sterile technique and familiarity with Cath/EP/IR supplies and equipment.
Clienttion safety knowledge is a must.
Team includes a manager, assistant manager, five other radiology technologists, and eight registered nurses.
Department utilizes EPIC for EMR.
Equipment includes Philips Azurion Imaging Equipment, Carto for EP ablations, and IVUS/FFR technology.
Scheduling includes one weekend on-call per month.
On-call schedule consists of 1-2 nights per week and one weekend call per month.
Holiday expectations include working one major holiday during the contract.
Requests for time off can be accommodated depending on dates.
Shift times are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with four 10-hour shifts per week.
Schedule is planned six weeks at a time.
Scrub color is blue, provided by the hospital.

As a Surgical FieldService Engineer supporting Alcon equipment at customer sites and demo equipment function effectively, you will be trusted to work on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment in a field-based role based in in our Mid-Atlantic Territory. In this role, a typical day will include:
Handle complex technical tasks to ensure Alcon equipment functions effectively as per specifications
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Alcon surgical equipment within an assigned service territory, including preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades per company guidelines
Develop ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business, including Annual Maintenance Contract/Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract sales and renewals
Document and maintain clients' service logs and prepare reports for product failure analysis and serviceability issues
Escalate issues to relevant engineering teams
Manage your daily schedule while maintaining proper and timely communications with customers, dispatch, managers, regional, and cross-functional teams
Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements
Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements to contribute to the overall compliance of the organization
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
