GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
As the Regional Manager of Cargo Ground Support Equipment, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of all GSE activities within in the cargo network. Additionally, you will manage the daily GSE operations of a TDA Cargo gateway. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our GSE shops meet the high standard of safety, reliability, and efficiency commensurate with TDA and customer expectations. Additionally, you will serve as the central point of contact for the GSE Division's Cargo Support Department. This role will interface with multiple internal personnel including, GSE senior leadership, GSE mechanics, gateway leadership, headquarters support personnel, and Cargo Division senior leadership on a regular basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Manage and oversee all aspects of GSE operations of the Cargo Network.
Manage and oversee all aspects of GSE daily operations within assigned Cargo gateway.
Ensure that all GSE operations comply with safety regulations and standards.
Lead and mentor a team of GSE technicians.
Recruit, train and develop GSE personnel to maintain a skilled workforce.
Analyze data relating to GSE performance, maintenance schedules, and team key performance indicators (KPI).
Provide regular reports to senior management on GSE operations.
Collaborate within internal departments and stakeholders.
Lead monthly meetings with GSE team to discuss operational matters, safety.
Develop and implement KPI's.
Develop and monitor gateway GSE spare parts inventory and ensure gateways are equipped with tools and parts necessary for both normal and contingency operations.

Develop and implement strategies to engage with the local community to raise awareness about clinical trials and Velocity Clinical Research.
Collaborate with Patient Experience team to plan and facilitate community outreach events.
Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups to promote clinical trial participation across a diverse population.
Actively seek ways to be inclusive of diverse groups and increase the diversification of Velocity's trial participant database.

Clinician Referrals

Health Records Screening

Act as an ambassador for Velocity-developed technologies and/or partnered services. Seek ways to increase efficiency and participant engagement through technology and process improvement. Collect and provide constructive internal feedback for the advancement of the Velocity technology platform.
Track all activity across initiatives, including patient source to enable accurate measurement of return on investment; prioritize efforts toward greatest returns. Influence decision-making on best practices and most impactful engagement and recruitment approaches for the site and the organization.
Collaborate cross-functionally to share best practices and lessons learned for continuous improvement and adoption across sites and projects.
Ensure that new participant information is captured accurately and timely to expand the Velocity participant database. Facilitate updates to participant data as new information is received.

Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
* Work from orders, blueprints, route and method sheets, and direction from supervisor.
* Welds together metal components as specified by layout, diagram, work order, welding procedures, and oral instructions, using electric wire feed welding equipment.
* Obtain welding, fixtures and positioners from storage, identify by part or tool number, as indicated on route sheet.
* Weld beads of prescribed length, radius, and size to fasten elements securely together to meet specifications and leak proof seams when required.
* Weld elements to make regular and irregular, eccentric, and symmetrical weldments of simple, or design.
* Vary amperage and voltage to obtain quality weld at maximum linear speed consistent with good.
* Obtain accurate angular, dimensional and spatial relationships, within specified limits, by careful a fixture, proper positioning, clamping, and checking of parts in fixture.
* Strikes arc, which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to work piece and join edges of work piece.
* Manually guides gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld and size of molten puddle.
* Welds in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.
* Cleans or degreases weld joint or work piece using wire brush, portable grinder or chemical bath.
* May cut metal plate or structural shapes using oxy/acetylene torch.
Overtime may be required in addition to occasional Saturday operations.
Experience Required
2 year's manufacturing experience
A certificate or degree in welding or the equivalent work experience
