Also included in the billion-dollar food chain’s employee health benefits is generous HRA funding, health care incentives to offset medical deductibles, lower coverage contributions, and preventive and diagnostic care coverage.

Perhaps the most attractive aspect of Aldi’s health benefits is the cost. The Germany-based company prides itself on offering affordable, low-cost health insurance to all eligible employees. Aldi PTO Policy

No matter what position you're applying to at Aldi, you’re probably curious about what paid time off you’ll be eligible for. Generally speaking, like most other major employers in the United States, Aldi’s paid time off policies are largely dependent on what position you have within the company.

Typically, all full-time Aldi employees are eligible for vacation and personal days and earn paid time off through an accrual system. The amount of vacation and personal days you receive each year directly reflects how many hours you work each week and how many years you’ve worked at the company.

For example, most tenured, full-time employees working for Aldi receive about three weeks of vacation time each year, while new grocery store employees start with one week. Employees working for Aldi for ten consecutive years even have the opportunity to earn up to six weeks of annual vacation time.

In addition to paid time off, employees at Aldi are also allotted seven paid holidays each year — including New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas — after their successful completion of 90 days of employment.

In addition to paid vacation, holidays, personal time, and sick days, some employees can also take extended leaves of absence. For instance, the billion-dollar grocery company offers parental leave and long and short-term disability leave in acceptable circumstances and according to local laws and regulations.
