About the role
As a warehouse IT specialist, you will be accountable for helping us maintain networks, security camera systems, badge systems, alarm systems, printers, desktops and laptops, and robotic automation picking and packing systems. About the Role
We're seeking a reliable, organised, and technically minded Support Specialist who enjoys problem-solving and delivering great customer experiences. You'll handle technical questions from merchants, investigate issues across our platform, and help ensure merchants get fast, accurate resolutions.
This role blends customer support with light technical investigation: part troubleshooting, part educator, part translator between merchants and our product/engineering teams.
You'll work on a wide variety of workflows, from reviewing API logs to helping merchants understand customs docs and you'll be a key contributor to improving the support function as we grow. You'll work closely with our CX, Product, and Engineering teams to keep merchants moving and make our support function even better.
Key responsibilities
Investigate technical issues escalated from our CX team.
Review API logs, webhook events, and internal monitoring tools.
Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for issues such as:
API errors
Webhook failures
Customs or documentation questions
Stripe disputes
Carrier claims (lost/damaged parcels)
Label regeneration & shipping rule misconfigurations
Become a subject-matter expert (SME) in a product area (e.g., Automations, APIs, Integrations).
Work cross-functionally with Product, R&D, Account Managers, CSMs, and Ops to troubleshoot merchant issues.
Join merchant calls when a technical specialist is needed for clarification or support.
Create and maintain documentation, internal guides, and Knowledge Base articles.
Contribute to process improvements that help reduce ticket volume and improve the support experience.
What we would like to see:
2-3+ years in Technical Customer Support, ideally in SaaS, e-commerce, or logistics.
Strong working knowledge of:
APIs & webhooks (authentication, error codes, debugging)
E-commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce)
Payments & disputes (Stripe or similar)
Shipping & logistics (carriers, customs docs, duties/taxes)
Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly.
Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Postman, JavaScript, JSON, Shopify, or basic HTML/CSS.
Empathetic and solution-oriented approach to customer interactions.
Ability to manage escalations and coordinate with multiple teams.
Strong organisational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Merchant issues are resolved quickly, accurately, and with great communication.
Documentation and internal tooling become easier for the rest of the team to use.

About the role
As a warehouse IT specialist, you will be accountable for helping us maintain networks, security camera systems, badge systems, alarm systems, printers, desktops and laptops, and robotic automation picking and packing systems. A successful candidate should have some experience in IT project coordination, a solid technical background, and good organizational, analytical, and learning abilities.
Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain IT infrastructure, such as WAN/LAN networks, WiFi Access Points, MDF/IDF, video conference, security cameras, warehouse badge/alarm systems, etc.
Provide daily IT support for warehouse operations, including network, desktop/server, barcode and Wi-Fi printer, scanner, touch screen, PDA, UPS, other IT equipment, and warehouse management systems.
Maintain all IT equipment and automation systems in good working condition.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/PC operating system, hardware, software and apps, video conference, printer, etc., and support employee onboarding/offboarding.
Manage IT equipment inventory, IT assets, and user access privileges.
Build and maintain warehouse robotic automation picking and packing systems related to IT servers, storage, and applications if needed.
Analyze error reports and system alerts to identify robots, charging stations, and other equipment.
Troubleshooting network and client endpoint issues, including packet captures and analysis.
To track the health and performance of robotic systems over time, maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, error logs, and performance metrics.
Write SOP user manual documents and provide IT training to end users.
Create and follow change control and incident management processes and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and projects.
Other projects or tasks assigned by the warehouse Operations Manager/Director.
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant work experience in IT support.
Excellent network skills, such as managing IT server room network switch/firewall.
Experienced computer troubleshooting skills (windows 10, Mac OS & Linux OS).
Possess good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Well-known security camera system & badge system.
Robot Packing and Picking Automation system maintenance experience is a plus.
Nimble and patient with good communication skills.
Warehouse-related IT support experience is preferred.
