    WHAT YOU'LL DO Vox Media is seeking an experienced Supervising Producer to lead the development and launch of compelling digital series across verticals like sports, lifestyle, and culture. This role will oversee show development and lead production teams, and collaborate with host talent to shepherd content from pitch to launch. You will act as both a creative developer and as a showrunner, ensuring production excellence while also serving as a key liaison for host partnerships. The ideal candidate has experience building standout digital video shows, is an ardent consumer of online creator content, understands how to build brands around talent, and knows how to develop programming strategies tailored for YouTube, podcasts, and other digital-first platforms. Prior hands-on experience in technical video production is strongly preferred, as you'll be expected to provide detailed creative and technical feedback to support production teams in executing programmatically compelling and visually dynamic shows. Supervise show producers, including overseeing the work of creative leads. Develop original show concepts, pilots, and formats in key categories including sports, lifestyle, and culture. Act as a creative lead and quality steward for audio/video productions across platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.). Scout and cultivate host talent in key categories, evaluating for original perspectives and charismatic presence, deep connections with an online community, and alignment with Vox Media's commitment to excellent, high quality content at scale. Collaborate closely with talent management, marketing, and sales teams to align programming with broader company goals. Provide production oversight, including scripting, creative feedback, and troubleshooting executional challenges. Guide the creative strategy for new launches with a keen understanding of platform nuances (YouTube algorithms vs. Reels engagement vs audio podcast promotion). Stay current on trends in digital content, platform algorithms, and audience behavior. WHAT YOU'LL BRING 7+ years of experience in digital content development, production, or showrunning at a media company, creator-led venture, or production studio. Proven track record of developing and launching successful shows on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or podcast networks. Experience working directly with influencers, creators, or talent management teams to build scalable, personality-driven IP. Strong creative instincts combined with technical production fluency-you've been in the weeds of video production and understand how to coordinate with teams on lighting/set pieces, editing, and post-production. Deep familiarity with the podcast landscape, and how podcast strategy differs from other visual-first formats. Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. Strong editorial judgment and the ability to balance brand tone, platform expectations, and audience needs. Highly organized and self-motivated, able to drive projects from concept to delivery. About the Role: As a Producer within the Creative Studio, you will play a key role in planning, producing, and delivering a wide range of creative projects across both Resident and Ashley. This is a hands-on, highly versatile role requiring strong production expertise across photo, video, and content creation. This position requires a highly versatile skill set, as you will often operate across multiple functions throughout the production lifecycle. While a significant portion of your responsibilities will center on leading and managing creative executions, you will also be expected to step into supporting roles on set and during pre- and post-production as needed.
