About the job
As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in assembling mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components into finished products that meet Alfa Laval's quality standards. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the production of wastewater treatment equipment and support continuous improvement efforts. This is an on-site opportunity located in Houston.
As a part of the team, you will:
• Assemble mechanical components using engineering drawings and established procedures
• Wire and pipe standard and non-standard assemblies to meet quality and schedule requirements
• Test completed assemblies and correct discrepancies to ensure product functionality
• Provide feedback for safety, product improvement, and cost-saving opportunities
• Promote 5S culture by maintaining tools and a clean, organized work area
• Follow work instructions provided by the team leader and collaborate with team members
What you know:
You have a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) with relevant experience, and:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical equipment assembly or a similar field
• Ability to read and work from basic engineering drawings
• Experience using pneumatic and hand tools (saws, drills, grinders, hydraulic pumps)
• Understanding of basic electrical and hydraulic terminology

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Manager to provide oversight and leadership across payroll and benefits operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in partnership with internal teams and external vendors. As a part of the team, you will:
Payroll Oversight
Provide strategic oversight of payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Supervise payroll team and external payroll partners to ensure proper processing of new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions
Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll transactions, support journal entries, and assist with budget planning
Oversee payroll-related compliance activities including tax filings, W-2 reconciliations, and audit documentation.
Maintain and update payroll policies, procedures, and training materials
Support compensation analysis and ensure proper mapping of time and attendance data
Benefits Program Management
Manage the setup, structure, and strategy of employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, COBRA, 401K, and wellness initiatives, including annual updates to summary plan documents
Lead Annual Enrollment and coordinate plan renewals and system updates
Maintain vendor and third-party administrator relationships, ensuring accurate invoicing, data integrity, and timely issue resolution

Oversee leave management programs (FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.) and ensure compliance with applicable laws
Assist Regional Total Rewards Manager in strengthening the benefits strategy, with you implementing and executing it

Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, ACA reporting, and benefits-related legislation
Lead preparation and submission of all internal/external audits
Validate payroll and benefits reports for reconciliation and strategic planning

Process Improvement & Collaboration
Identify and implement improvements to payroll and benefits systems and workflows
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Marketing on initiatives including recognition programs M&A activity

What you know:

Job Summary:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing field technical support for IR products, striving to be customer focused, fully responsive and successful in meeting the 24/7 technical service needs of customers. Develop a collaborative relationship with the balance of IR to establish this area as the "go to" place for technical field service knowledge. Focus on providing valued solutions to customers, utilizing IR services as well as IR's products. The job also carries a variety of incentive plans, that are paid out annually.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support during repair and/or installation, at customers' sites, of IR's equipment to ensure standards are met and the integrity of the equipment is maintained.
* Ensure safe work practices are followed, reporting all safety incidents and near misses on a timely basis and maintaining the goal of "zero" lost time incidents
* Work to improve responsiveness to customers by being available to make sales calls, perform technical walk downs, and provide solutions to customers that distinguish IR's proposals and capabilities
* Complete required reports, including Service Reports, Customer Call Reports, Expense Reports and Time Sheets, on a timely basis in order to provide appropriate follow-up to customers including accurate invoicing for services.
* Suggest improvements to processes and procedures in order to improve customer response time and accuracy of all data

* Maintain proficiencies using vibration analysis and laser alignment equipment for balancing, testing, etc.

Position Overview

About the job
As an integral member of our manufacturing team, you will play a pivotal role in assembling and fabricating metal components for separation equipment. You will have the opportunity to apply your welding expertise, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support the production of high-quality equipment. This is on-site opportunity located in Houston, Texas.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a 90-day performance evaluation period.
As a part of the team, you will:
• Perform common welding work, including fitting, by applying heat to bond/fuse metal surfaces or parts according to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs)
• Use hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to assemble metal components
• Inspect existing weldments to identify areas of weakness and perform necessary repairs
• Use welding equipment to perform metal cutting/trimming work or fabricate simple fixtures
• Possess at least one welder approval certificate according to relevant standard/code
• Execute production work according to ALPS standards and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts
What you know:
You have relevant hands-on experience in welding and fabrication, and:
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional welding experience (experience in separation equipment is preferred)
• Optional: 1 to 2 years of experience in manual machining or milling

About the job
As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in perform equipment receipt, inspection, repair, testing and packaging following the company's quality standards, SOPs and safety guidelines. This position also disassembles PHEs, cleans and rebuilds to new standard.
Currently, this is an on-site position based in Houston, Texas, for our 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm.
This role starts as a temporary position followed by direct hiring upon successful evaluation.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
Receives, counts, verifies, labels and stores all parts
Uncrates, removes gaskets, disassembles
For glued gaskets - puts plate on hook, submerges in liquid nitrogen, after removed, stacks plates on skid in preparation for chemical dip
Fills out Preliminary, Actual, Final Inspection reports and reads PLA/Drawings as job moves through shop
Dyes penetration inspection process - takes plate into room, sprays die on one side and inspects under black light for holes, cracks or other irregularities in plates. Rinses remaining dye from plates
Cleans units (pressure wash), paints if specified
Installs new gaskets per specification (glue, snap or clip)
For glued gaskets - glues gaskets to plate and tapes in place, moves to cure oven, posts cure, inspects and removes tape, stacks plates for assembly either configure per specification for plate packs or assembles to frame per drawing
For clip or snap on - assures gasket is secure - stacks plates for assembly either configures per specification for plate packs or assembles to frame per drawing
Recognizes and communicates the need for replenishment of supplies, tools, along with the need for repair parts and other facility needs to supervision in a timely manner
Directly responsible for keeping work area and surrounding equipment clean and organized. Performs housekeeping as required at the facility to maintain a professional presentation - (follows 5S standards)
Uncrates as necessary to add additional items for customer as directed by Capital Sales
Uncrates customer supplied parts and assembles or repackages as necessary for shipping or customer pick-up
Picks up/Deliver Customer Equipment every couple months/as necessary
Responsible for shipping, receiving, distribution of Alfa Laval and customer equipment
Actively participates in daily ALPS meeting
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities of the Successful Candidate:
High School diploma or Equivalent
Experience in a manual shop environment, preferred but not necessary
Experience operating fork lift trucks, hand pallet jacks and overhead cranes, preferred
Able to use measuring devices (tape measure, depth micrometer) as required
Good hand eye coordination
Flexible, Team Player
Clocking in and out, scanning bar codes, taking photos

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer with experience in Portable Life Support Systems (PLSS) or related life support systems to join our Houston-based team. This role will focus on the design, integration, and testing of electrical and electronic subsystems that support astronaut life support functions in space applications.
The candidate should understand basic material compatibility with space environments and softgoods. Reviews the work of members of the project teams to ensure conformance with established guidelines, methods, procedures, and policies. Provides technical oversight and assistance to other departments as required. Provide support to in-field applications if necessary. This position is subject to moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgment. The Ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace with experience in aircraft pressurization systems.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical systems and components for Spacesuits, PLSS, and other products including power distribution, sensors, control electronics, and embedded systems.
* Design and develop electrical systems product design to ensure all specifications and system interface requirements are met.
* Interfaces with customers, defines system interface, and conveys requirements to Design Engineers.
* Evaluates and trades potential system and component options at all levels.
* Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of options and makes recommendations to both internal and external customers.
* Prepares product verification plans to demonstrate compliance with specification requirements.
* Work with fabrication and manufacturing departments to ensure final design is properly executed in the creation of mechanical products.

Role Summary:
The Project Manager ensures that Flowserve meets our commitments on complex aftermarket orders related to repairs, upgrades, hydraulic rerates, and maintenance of rotating pumps and equipment for our customers in industries such as oil, chemical, pharmaceutical, municipal water/wastewater, and power. These complex projects involve technical challenges, substantial risk, and multiple service centers, and they may cross state and international boundaries. Responsibilities:
+ Leads kickoff meetings and phase gate meetings to coalesce strategies into actions. Identifies stakeholders and analyzes their expectations.
+ Proficient at contract review documentation and make sure it reflects what has been negotiated and ensure successful execution throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Assists the project team to develop the scope of supply, to translate work breakdown structure into an activity-based schedule and to identify the critical path. Helps the team to prepare key project management documents.
+ Communicates project specifications, terms and conditions to key suppliers.
+ Leads project review meetings and collaborates with all disciplines during the project, including engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure that Flowserve delivers on-time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
+ Maintain a positive customer experience while tracking progress towards budget objectives. Monitors our on-time invoice submissions and cash collections.
