The Inbound Customer Support Manager, a marketing professional, is responsible for scaling and optimizing the inbound marketing function to help deliver a seamless customer experience and ongoing revenue generating opportunities. The manager will lead and drive a team who are the first point of contact for customers across inbound communication channels, including (but not limited to) phone, email and chat.
This role will ensure all inquiries are promptly addressed and resolved to enable a seamless customer journey that helps extend Alfa Laval's market leadership across participation areas like Food & Water, Energy, Marine, and Service. The managers use of technology platforms, like CRM, to manage, analyze and report customer interactions is critical to enabling and accelerating data-driven commercial and marketing decisions.
Reporting to the Head of Cluster Marketing - North America, the Inbound Customer Support Manager is an integral part of a collaborative team, working closely with sales and marketing to coordinate/align business strategies and actions to meet customers' ongoing needs.
This is an on-site role in Richmond, VA.
As a part of the team, you will:
Scale and optimize the Inbound Customer Support function, creating systems, processes and implementing best practices to enable a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
Lead and manage the Inbound Customer support team to provide best-in-class customer interaction, including RFQ and RFI, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
Act as a primary point of contact for customer inbound communication channels like phone, live chat, and email, ensuring that all customer interactions are professional and customer-focused to drive first-interaction resolution and support growth of the sales funnel.
Develop, monitor and analyze KPI's with regular business partner reporting to drive continuous improvement, strategy development and enable insights-based decision making.
Develop and maintain close business partnerships with cross-functional groups and peers to drive strategic alignment, supporting a spirit of collaboration and positive problem resolution.
Manage technology platforms, like customer relation management systems, in partnership with the marketing team to develop actionable insights and intelligence.
Implement customer engagement tactics and initiatives to drive sales and retention growth.

What you know:
You have a bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience. Additionally, you have:
5 or more years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
Proficient in using customer service software, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Call Rail, etc. as well as Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Job Summary:
Our Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Customer Center is hiring a General Line Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Customer Center equipment sales and service activity for a specific territory. Traveling in a defined geographic area, this includes quoting, strategizing, prospecting, and developing relationships to achieve revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share and maintain customer loyalty while achieving organizational goals. Job Overview :
The Field Service Technician for Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment. In addition, you need to have knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
Responsibilities :
In addition to performing preventative maintenance on Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment, our service techs will interact with customers to address existing and unanticipated equipment concerns. Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs. All service technicians will assist and train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
* Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
* Provides technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems. Including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirement with limited guidance from the Master Technician.
* Increases Ingersoll Rand customers awareness of how Ingersoll Rand products, services, and solutions, such as Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostics, Audits and Leak Detection can benefit their operations.
Requirements :
* 2 years+ experience of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
* Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
* Every service technician is required to be on-call, but you will not be on-call for the first 90 days to get used to the schedule. This is shared with every service tech, and it requires being available 24/7 for the 1-week duration where you will go to customer sites. On-call weeks can be as often as every 4 weeks or greater than 4 weeks, but that will be determined by the hiring manager.
* This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move weight limits in line with the safety policy.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

* Advanced network systems installations (IMMC/ASC, X Series Automation).

This position is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with the project owners, project developers, mechanical engineering, specifier community, nationwide contractors to educate about Alfa Laval Heat Exchangers products and their applications, along with increasing the number of specifications, and subsequent sales within Across the US.

Responsibilities include:
Build and maintain strategic relationships with Major Engineering companies & Nationwide contractors.
Understand the opportunities that the engineers & contractors are working on and develop them in your own pipeline.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION ( job duties and responsibilities):
Accurate & Consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment's (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Hand Gloves, Uniform others as required by the specific process)
Receive daily work assignments from the Team Leader/ Team Manager and execute production with Standard Operating Procedures as a base.
Report any deviations (Safety, Quality, Parts, Equipment's etc related) to Status Boards immediately and update the Team Leader / Team Manager.
Be active and engaged into the Daily Status Board Meetings by explaining the deviations and propose solutions. • Review & suggest any improvements for the Standard Operating Procedures. • Look into your own areas for waste (time, motion, transportation, inventories etc) elimination opportunities and drive KAIZEN improvements.
Common welding work, including fitters by applying heat to bond/fuse metal surfaces or parts according to Welding Procedure Specifications, WPSs.
Using hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to assemble metal components into parts for equipment.
Inspecting existing weldments to identify areas of weakness.
Use welding equipment to perform metal cutting/trimming work or fabricate simple fixtures.
Possess at least on welder approval certificate according to relevant standard/code
Execute production work according to ALPS standard and participate in continuously improvements.

Job Overview:
The Field Service Technician for Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment. In addition, you need to have knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
Responsibilities:
In addition to performing preventative maintenance on Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment, our service techs will interact with customers to address existing and unanticipated equipment concerns. Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs. All service technicians will assist and train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
* Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
* Provides technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems. Including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirement with limited guidance from the Master Technician.
* Increases Ingersoll Rand customers awareness of how Ingersoll Rand products, services, and solutions, such as Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostics, Audits and Leak Detection can benefit their operations.
Requirements:
* 2 years+ experience of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
* Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
* Every service technician is required to be on-call, but you will not be on-call for the first 90 days to get used to the schedule. This is shared with every service tech, and it requires being available 24/7 for the 1-week duration where you will go to customer sites. On-call weeks can be as often as every 4 weeks or greater than 4 weeks, but that will be determined by the hiring manager.
* This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move weight limits in line with the safety policy.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Core Competencies:
* Able to read wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment.
* Advanced network systems installations (IMMC/ASC, X Series Automation).
* Basic vibration troubleshooting.
* Basic Air Quality (system compressor/dryer - air treatment).
* Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and other basic computer usage. Working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad) and network bases.
