SUNY Alfred State is located in the beautiful Southern Tier, 70 miles south of Rochester, and 90 miles southeast of Buffalo. The college enrolls approximately 3,600 full-time students annually. There are some 275 teaching faculty and professional staff supporting the college's more than 70 programs in agricultural, allied health, business, and engineering technologies, plus liberal arts and sciences, and 16 programs in applied technology. Popular programs include Nursing, Culinary Arts, Heavy Equipment Operations, Building Construction, HVAC, Electrical, Vet Tech., Digital Media/Animation, and many more.
