The College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity (CEHC) at the University at Albany (UAlbany) is seeking applicants for a tenured Associate or Full professor who will also serve as the Director of its Interdisciplinary PhD in Information Science Program. The Director of the Program provides academic, administrative, and strategic leadership to support the development and delivery of a high-quality, interdisciplinary doctoral program. They ensure that the Program aligns with the mission, vision, and strategic goals of CEHC and the University at Albany. The Director is further responsible for promoting academic excellence, fostering a strong research culture, ensuring student success, and managing program operations. Candidates should be able to take an integrative approach in working with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of backgrounds within and outside the college.
The successful candidate is an integral part of the Department's instructional team. Associate or Full Professors deliver undergraduate and graduate-level instruction, conduct research, and partake in advisement responsibilities. Each semester, the tenure-track and tenured faculty generally teach two courses. While we welcome candidates from a range of specializations and methodologies, we especially encourage candidates whose scholarly work critically engages with diverse ways of understanding issues in technology and society. This could include scholarship in topics such as information science, cybersecurity, emergency management, artificial intelligence, communications or related areas.
The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in College and Department activities, serve on committees, attend faculty meetings and retreats, participate in end-of session activities along with graduation and other meetings that arise, in addition to developing curriculum.

We are seeking a well-established expert who has a track record of leadership in funded research and scholarship in one or more areas of Microelectronics, including:
* Codesign for Heterogeneous Integration/Advanced Packaging: (a) EDA tools for chiplet integration or chiplet system design, including applied AI/ML techniques for microelectronics co-design, and (b) modeling for co-design with crosscutting considerations of the chiplet system architecture, thermal and mechanical issues, materials and reliability

The successful hire would also help recruit and attract top talent to complement existing strengths.

Clinical education is provided in accordance with ASHA standards and includes direct supervision of both therapy and diagnostic services. The Nazareth CSD Department comprises undergraduate and graduate programs, with graduate specialties in autism, deafness, early intervention, bilingual, and medical speech-language pathology. The department has 200+ students (85 graduate students) and 11 FT faculty. Interprofessional collaboration and education are hallmarks of Nazareth University.
