Address day to day maintenance issues that impact the factory's ability to manufacture product. Collaborate with peers, engineers, and managers to ensure building systems and manufacturing equipment is operating safely and efficiently. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, layout, construct, install and service structural metal (either soldered, riveted or welded jobs) and heavy construction pipe systems, including steam, hydraulic, low/high pressure pneumatic, vacuum, industrial production and processing system. Ability to utilize drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, sketches and verbal instructions. Construct guards, cyclone or other complicated exhaust systems, and air and water tight containers. Replace expansion joints in pressured air/water/steam lines. Install and/or repair plumbing equipment and fixtures including plastic, ceramic, and metal. Ability to set up and operate a brake shear, rolling machine, welding equipment, etc. Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices. Disassemble or set up all manner of machinery or related equipment. Work closely with engineers, peers, and other team members in designing, creating, and maintaining complete systems including all heavy construction/facilities, structural, plumbing, water/steam lines and drains. Requires minimal supervision on assigned projects. Ability to troubleshoot, assist troubleshooting, install, repair, and maintain production equipment. Ability to use a computer and internal applications to monitor progress on assigned tasks. Ability to collaborate with outside contractors, vendors, and agencies as required. Ability to source replacement parts and equipment. Assist with layout, design, and relocation of office and factory equipment. Must attend and complete required trainings identified by the company. We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot electrical issues, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, collaborate with maintenance and production teams, and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Technician provides specialized skill support to the Maintenance Department. They will support facilities maintenance operations within a cannabis cultivation facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for completing assigned maintenance tasks involving basic to intermediate installation, inspection, and routine upkeep and repair of machines and equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic provides on-site support to facilities maintenance operations within a cannabis cultivation facility. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you are responsible for completing assigned maintenance tasks involving basic and advanced installation, inspection, and routine upkeep and repair of machines and equipment. You are the subject matter expert on equipment repair for the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists. * Document and troubleshoot maintenance issues involving electrical, HVAC, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair and replacement. * Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment on a scheduled basis, including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings, etc. * Review equipment schematics to accurately disassemble and reassemble machinery. * Repair mechanical equipment including pumps, gear reducers, seals, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, liquid fillers, bottle cappers, elevators, tapers, and conveyors. * Repair electrical equipment including motors, motor control centers, variable speed drives, transformers, pumps, kettles, form/fill/seal equipment, shrink banders, heat tunnels, ink jet machines, labelers, and electrical controls. * Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust. * Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. * Report all maintenance issues to Maintenance Manager. * Maintain record of scheduled maintenance procedures. * Perform custodial functions to clean and maintain the building both inside and outside. * Assist with the management of outside contractors for required service for the facilities and equipment. * Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws. * Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). * Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas. * Immediately inform the Maintenance Manager of any system discrepancies. * Work within company continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity. * Provide support to additional cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed to achieve facility production goals. * Perform other duties as assigned by management.
