Jess Ravich serves as Group Managing Director and Head of Alternative Products at TCW. Prior to joining TCW, Jess Ravich was a Managing Director and Head of the Capital Markets Group at Houlihan Lokey, an international investment bank. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, he founded Libra Securities LLC, an investment banking firm serving the middle market, where he served as CEO for 18 years and was also co-founder and a member of the investment committee of Caltius Capital Management, a Los Angeles-based mezzanine and private equity fund manager with over $1 billion in capital under management. Jess Ravich also brings a wealth of experience from Jefferies & Company and Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he was an executive vice president of the fixed income department and a senior vice president, respectively. He is the chairman of the board of directors for The Cherokee Group, Inc. and ALJ Regional Holdings, Inc., and serves on the board of directors of Spectrum Group. Jess Ravich is a graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, and Harvard Law School, magna cum laude.

Brian Hartman has served as Chief Financial Officer of ALJ Regional Holdings, Inc. since August 2017. Previously, Brian was the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Arcade Beauty, a manufacturer of sampling solutions for the beauty, fragrance and skincare segments, having served in such role since March 2012. From April 2005 to March 2012, Brian was the Vice President, Corporate Controller of Visant Corporation, a specialty printing and marketing services enterprise. From January 1996 to April 2005, Brian was the Controller for Metallurg Inc, a producer and distributor of specialty metals. Prior to this, Brian held various accounting and auditing positions at Witco Chemical Corp., a manufacturer of specialty chemicals and Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Brian is a certified public accountant and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in public accounting and a Master of Business Administration in financial management from Pace University.
