    Job Description Laboratory Supervisor - Bradenton, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift (Rotating Weekends) We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership and operational oversight within a clinical laboratory environment. This role is ideal for a motivated laboratory professional who values quality, teamwork, and excellence in patient care. The Laboratory Supervisor will support daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead staff development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Supervise technical and non-technical laboratory personnel and assign shifts and work areas Oversee laboratory processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance Support functional laboratory areas including specimen collection, processing, and referral testing, based on department licensure Develop and manage quality monitoring systems, including data collection, documentation, reporting, and corrective action plans Monitor and manage resource utilization such as payroll, supplies, expenses, volume trends, and operational reports Provide leadership through coaching, training, performance management, and professional development of staff Participate in hiring activities, including screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates Qualifications Associate degree in Science or Medical Technology required Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology preferred Active Florida Laboratory Supervisor License required Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist Previous supervisory experience required Licensure in three technical specialties preferred Compensation $32.62 - $48.93 per hour, based on years of experience
