ADVANCED EMT FULL-TIME & PART-TIME Opportunity 1.5k sign-on bonus, full time, with one year commitment We're hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients. RESPONSIBILITIES: Advanced EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights. Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients. Use appropriate Advanced EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools. Advanced EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles. Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow co-workers. Other Responsibilities: Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) State Driver's License National or State Advanced EMT certification CPR/BLS certifications Driving record in compliance with company policy Pass a Physical Agility Test WORKING CONDITIONS AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Working Conditions: Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, extended workdays. Long periods inside the ambulance. May work indoors or outdoors with exposure to weather. Possible routine exposure to moderate noise levels. May periodically work in poorly lit environments in a moving vehicle. Physical Demands: Moderate to extended amounts of sitting, standing, and walking. Some repetitive motion activities. Routinely lifting more than 200 lbs. with assistance. Pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, carrying, typing and stair climbing. Visual identification of color-coded items. Clear speech and hearing. Must be able to wear a face mask or respirator with proper fit for extended periods when required. Mental Requirements: Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.     The Client Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team is deeply committed to the safety and well being of our people. To support these goals, Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join our team. In this position, you will work closely with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and occasionally the Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS). This includes attending weekly associate safety committee meetings, greeting all new hires for the site or through daily one-on-one interaction. Additionally, the OMR will participate in weekly case management review meetings as necessary. As an OMR, you will independently assess and administer first aid as well as offer guidance to Client Associates (AAs) on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You should be passionate about learning and advocating health and wellness principles to consistently support AAs on a daily basis. You will refer care to outside medical providers as needed, and learn about OSHA regulations, risk, and analysis. The OMR will function as a part of the larger team onsite, assisting with all first aid needs and support safety operations as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary. Minimize the AA risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement. Maintain all records of care provided to AAs. Coordinate and maintain the workers' compensation and return to work programs for AAs with work-related injuries. Provide daily activity logs and end of shift reports. Engage with AAs and leadership on operations floor to provide coaching regarding observed at-risk work habits. Maintain a clean working environment and ensure appropriate medical supply inventory is maintained. Participate in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR and AED certifications classes. Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials. Work flexible shifts which could include days, nights, holidays, and/or weekends. Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols. Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site. Additional Job Elements include: Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. Work in an environment where the noise level varies. Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments). Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs For those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or client, must obtain within 3 weeks of start date.
