The position of Installer is responsible for assembling and installing various type of sign packages and building elements according to site specific drawings and specifications. Position Overview This role can be based at our New Albany, Ohio or Sterling, VA site. Vantage is looking for an ambitious, self-sufficient, detail-oriented, resourceful Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to establish and maintain customer relationships and promote customer satisfaction. You will be the interface for Vantage Customers to ensure that their needs are met and will coordinate throughout all internal departments to support customer requests. The daily responsibilities include establishing and maintaining a relationship with a core set of customers to support day-to-day activities and requests including project support, construction reviews, data module fit-out coordination, customer onboarding, customer audits, operations support, performance reporting, customer tooling, and more. A successful candidate will coordinate with the Sales, Construction, and Operations organizations to develop custom solutions to ensure customer loyalty. Security Department The Security Department for Vantage Data Centers is very hands-on. In most cases, we specify, purchase, configure and maintain all networking and server hardware. Position Overview The Security Systems Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining Vantage data centers security systems to ensure all customer security needs are met. This will involve project management activities for all security systems installations and any upgrades required. This role is on-site in New Albany, OH M-F. Essential Job Functions · Handle all service requests for site repairs and maintenance, prioritizing based on level of risk. · Assist the Security Manager in developing project timelines and resource allocation for security system installations and upgrades. · Coordinate with IT, Facilities, Operations, and other relevant departments to facilitate project activities, ensuring alignment of objectives and schedules. · Monitor project milestones, report status updates, and escalate risks or delays to the Security Manager for timely resolution. · Continuously monitor the performance and health of installed security systems to ensure optimal up time per VDC policies and customer requirements. · Schedule and execute routine inspections, updates, and maintenance activities to prevent system failures and prolong equipment lifespan. · Prioritize tasks and interventions to minimize customer impact that align with service level agreements. · Respond promptly to system alerts, incidents, and client-reported issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication. · Review, log, and prioritize service requests related to security systems, coordinating prompt responses and resolutions. · Compile regular audit reports on system status, incidents, service requests, and compliance metrics for review by VDC management and as required by customers. · Assist in preparing documentation and evidence for internal and external security audits, ensuring all records are complete and accurate. · Track and report on compliance with Service Level Agreements, taking corrective action when targets are at risk. · Document challenges, resolutions, and lessons learned from projects and incidents to inform future improvements. · Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce downtime, and enhance service delivery. · Build, modify, and regularly review user access levels on security systems according to policy and business requirements. · Draft, review, and update SOPs for security system management, maintenance, and incident response. · Lead and coordinate activities of external vendors during installations, upgrades, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and procedures. · Evaluate vendor performance, escalate issues, and facilitate corrective actions where necessary. · Ensure vendors comply with VDC policies, security standards, and contractual obligations during all engagements. · Stay informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices relevant to security system management. · Perform additional duties as assigned by the Security Manager, demonstrating adaptability and proactive support for evolving operational needs. New Site Development Department The New Site Development team drives the technology, innovation and new development of data center infrastructure across Vantage's companywide portfolio. The department evaluates new sites, drives cost and scheduling in line with company goals and serves as subject matter authorities across the entire project lifecycle from concept through commissioning. The team collaborates with Sales, Operations and management along the way. New Site Dev also works hand in hand with the Construction team to come up with a vertically integrated design and ensures new and existing standards and designs are completed successfully. Position Overview The Development Manager is responsible for a core function in the Vantage team, namely: New Site Development, to drive development of controlled & existing real estate, and data centers associated with mergers and acquisitions. This position will oversee due diligence, initial concept, schematic and entitlement/permitting design and application(s), budget, and schedule for all new major projects and at the appropriate time transition them to the Construction Project Management Team for execution. Essential Job Functions * Assist Leadership Team with evaluation and diligence of new sites for data center assets, for the purpose of acquiring and developing into a Vantage Data Center property. * Lead all aspects of design & engineering project management, scheduling, and budgeting for new projects including site assessment, conceptual design, basis of design, scope of work, and development of design & construction documents. * Transition design and preconstruction packages to VDC Construction Project Managers for execution. * Provide thought and team leadership, while being accountable for team results on all preconstruction projects and assignments, including budget, schedule, and coordination with internal and external project stakeholders across several cross-functional teams. * Evaluate new technology and construction techniques associated with land development and building construction to gain an edge on speed to market. * Continue involvement in data center construction community to gain valuable knowledge of best practice, new trends and industry standards. * Support Market Development & Sales, as they identify and select new sites in existing and new markets in line with VDC strategy, including leading land due diligence efforts * Lead various aspects of land use & zoning approvals, coordination with landowners, neighborhood groups, community outreach and entitlement process with local jurisdictions. * Work with our internal Assistant General Counsel to assist with development-related agreements. * Coordinate local efforts with the various city planners, city councils, utilities (Power, Fiber, & Water), and other relevant parties critical to project success. * Represent Vantage in the best light to local officials and effectively communicate the benefits of wholesale data center campuses. * Drive scope, schedule, and budget decisions to conclusion including managing internal and external resources, project teams, contractors, and vendors. * Provide support to Construction Team from concept through commissioning across Vantage's portfolio of construction projects. * Ensure lessons learned are held and placed in the feedback loop to drive continuous improvement. * Report status of all projects in preconstruction status (risks, schedule, quality, and budget) to management. * Develop, refine, and implement processes and policies for new construction practices, comparison and ultimately green lighting deployment and actualization. * Understand business strategies to align product development and innovation to drive success. * Conduct Consultant/Vendor/Contractor qualification, network management/expansion, new technology evaluation for use on current product line and future product development opportunities. * Support project management team to establish project budgets, analyze design impacts on build costs, and submit approval packages to executive team. * Coordinate with site operations to define project requirements. * Work with sales and marketing to provide technical support wherever needed. * Additional duties as assigned by Management Job Requirements * Bachelor of Science degree in construction, engineering, or real estate development preferred. * 5 years of experience in Construction and Project Management. * Construction industry experience is required, with several years of advanced corporate real estate experience; industrial land acquisition experience is preferred. * Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required. * Strong IT skills, with ability to use multiple communication tools and packages including the Office suite, advanced Excel knowledge crucial. * Creative and innovative skillset. * Demonstrated ability to collaboratively lead project/design teams. * Excellent relationship building skills. * Ability to analyze complex business concepts and documents. * Ability to make effective presentations on general topics. * Skilled at solving problems and dealing with a variety of options with limited information. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. * Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization and with other stakeholders and third parties such as suppliers. * Flexible, adaptable, and self-directed; able to prioritize projects in a variety of circumstances while traveling, across multiple time zones, cross functionally, by project, etc. Physical Demands and Special Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position of Estimator is responsible for preparing or coordinating the material and labor costs for the production and installation of sign and building element projects.
