Job Description
**Job Title: Medical Front Office Specialist**
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Front Office Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment in our medical facility. As a Medical Front Office Specialist, you will be responsible for administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of daily activities, while upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive initial experience for each individual.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, verify insurance information, and collect copayments and outstanding balances.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments through the electronic health record (EHR) system, optimizing the provider's schedule.
- Answer incoming phone calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA and organizational guidelines.
- Assist with patient registration, data entry, and updating demographic information as needed.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and address any scheduling conflicts.
- Handle billing inquiries and provide general information regarding office policies and procedures.
- Support the medical team with administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, scanning, and distributing correspondence.
- Manage office supplies inventory and ensure that the front office area is organized and welcoming.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Proven experience in a medical office setting or similar environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and general office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient service excellence.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of insurance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Bilingual skills are an advantage.

Must have clinical drug study experience. We are a fast-paced research center currently looking to add an experienced research coordinator to our staff. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Experience as a clinical research coordinator
Ability to work as a team member
Self -starter and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Organized and attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to changing schedules
Supply and inventory management
Third party vendor management
Facilitate monitoring visits (IMVs) and sponsor correspondence including managing the follow-up process
IP management, dispensation, and accountability
Adverse Event management, tracking, reporting, and follow-up
Able to review study protocols, create source documents, maintain regulatory binders
Conduct patient recruitment and enrollment of eligible patients
Experience consenting, screening and randomizing subjects
Ability to multitask, prioritize and identify urgent matters
Able to obtain vital signs, ECG's, give injections
Phlebotomy certified, IATA certified and experience processing labs
Computer skills-including used of Microsoft Office Suite
CCRC or working towards obtaining certification. GCP Certification is required at the very least
Understands GCP, ICH and FDA guidelines and requirements
This role is 100% onsite. Candidates must be willing to relocate before starting work if not already located in the area.
