    PRN Behavioral Health Technician AllHealth Network is currently looking for qualified experienced Behavioral Health Techs to join our team at our Bridge House location on an as needed basis. Job Description: Behavioral Health Tech - PRN Supervise clients during assigned shift and provide resources as appropriate. Document significant interactions/events, including clinical shift notes in electronic medical record. Deliver new clients a comprehensive orientation to residential programming. Ensure that clients understand rules, campus layout, and guidelines for conduct. Continually provide education and support to clients regarding program expectations, assignments, and schedules. Participate in and promote a positive, supportive, and cooperative team environment. Accurately provide clients with appointment times, messages, and assignment support as needed. Using AllHealth Network protocol, assist in emergencies, including procedures and drills. Safely complete property searches and properly dispose of contraband items. Aid in client property and campus searches as needed. Facilitate the delivery of client meals in a timely manner. Support clinical staff and other departments in providing excellent client care. Facilitate educational groups as needed. As appropriate, encourage client participation in outings and wellness related activities. Safely transport clients to off-campus events, meetings, and appointments as required. Attend and actively participate in meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities. Demonstrate knowledge and competency in ethical standards of the counseling profession. Adhere to confidentiality laws including 42CFR Part 2, HIPAA and HITECH Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures Complete all required training as listed in Relias Learning (both online training and face-to-face training) within required timelines Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED equivalent Certified Addiction Technician designation is preferred CPR/First Aid certified One year of prior work experience in behavioral health is preferred Skills/Knowledge: Ability to relate with detachment and empathy to clients and Demonstrated ability to set and hold boundaries Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written Skilled in exercising sensitivity to the diverse cultural and situational needs of clients Dedication to continued professional Ability to operationalize organizational values when solving problems and making Ability to make decisions in crisis situations through a trauma informed Authentic commitment to Harmony's mission and vision, actively working to further organizational objectives Shift/Location: PRN - as needed Must work at least 3 shifts per month Must be open to days and nights Littleton, CO Pay Rate: $24.50 an hour The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. (25%) Documentation & Data Collection • Provides documentation outlined within the standard of work for inpatient care to ensure compliance with contractual guidelines for daily operations, collaboration with legal entities, and coordination of transitional care. • Performs documentation audits and develops any new documentation required to meet the requirements of the regulatory agencies. • Documents initial admission/shift assessments per unit-specific guideline of care. Ensures daily goals and plan of care transcribed and complete. • Collects data to promote self, unit and hospital improvement. • Integrates research behaviors into clinical practice by demonstrating awareness of research findings, identifying areas of practice that can be improved through research utilization and assisting in research. (20%) Treat • Meets basic standards of care documented in the standard of work including frequency of visits as outlined. • Anticipates and identifies issues and initiates resolutions for the corrections mental health patient population. • Monitors and evaluates the psychiatric condition of the patient and in collaboration with the psychiatrist and other disciplines and standards of care or applying appropriate protocols, make decisions regarding treatment changes. • Analyzes the assessment data in order to formulate a unique plan of care through identified needs. Identifies and reports any abnormalities in assessment data. • Evaluates, modifies and provides safe drug dosage as necessary and collaborates with the MD to assure safe sedation and monitoring tailored to the individual patients need. • Prescribes appropriate medications in accordance with pharmaceutical guidelines and standards of practice. • Writes orders, and evaluates patient's diagnostic and therapeutic services. • Refers patients to specialized services as needed.
