Role: As a member of the Commercial Order Entry / Engineering team in the Alliance Door Products Bothell Office, this role will meet our customer's needs through accurate, detailed, and thorough order entry. As a part of the overall Sales team, this role will help to build valuable and lasting relationships with our customers. Please note: This is not a traditional engineer position and does not require an engineering degree. However, this position will utilize your attention to detail and systematic approach to processes. Position Responsibilities: To conduct oneself with the highest levels of Integrity, positively representing the company and employees in a trustworthy and sincere manner. Provide accurate, detailed & thorough order entry for our Commercial Door and Hardware orders. Cooperatively interact with Purchasing and Production departments to evaluate costs and procedures required to successfully fulfill order requirements. Interact with the Customer Service team to ensure accuracy of information and respond to their needs for serving customers. Ensure prompt responses to both internal and external customers. Develop mastery in our ERP and related systems for new order entry and changes to open orders. Positively and professionally address customer needs, requests, and concerns in a timely manner. Utilize you understanding of door construction requirements, knowledge of fire code, and how it applies to that specific door opening requirement. Develop an understanding of our warranty and how it applies to that specific door opening application. Knowledge of hardware and door frame details to ensure accuracy of information. Identify conflicts and work with the customer to resolve them while upholding necessary requirements. Provide knowledge of pre-finish standards and requirements. Experience, Required and preferred: Must have at least five (5) years of experience working in a customer service role in an office environment. Must have at least three (3) years of experience working in the commercial door industry. Knowledge of wood by wood, hollow metal, and hardware. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Effectively communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions. Proficiency in learning and using CRM software and other relevant tools. Proven attention to detail, accuracy of work, and commitment to quality. Experience in navigating and operating programs efficiently. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time. Options to stand or sit while stationary. Occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machines, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office machines, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The ability to communicate information and ideas clearly through written and verbal form so others will understand.
