Dan Juntunen was named President/CEO for Wells Concrete in January, 2011. In this position, he is responsible for all phases of the organization, which include six production facilities and multiple in-house field crews along with Operations, Sales & Marketing, Corporate Services and Product Development, all focusing on a strong market presence from Canada to New Mexico and Wisconsin to Colorado. Prior to being named President / CEO, Dan had served as the Chief Financial Officer since 2007. In that capacity, he was responsible for the company’s corporate services, financial management, human resources, and information technology. Dan began his career in commercial banking, initially as a credit analyst and then as a workout officer with a portfolio consisting largely of troubled real estate and construction debt. Following his banking experience, Dan moved to the private sector and served in various financial capacities for private equity based mid-market companies. Immediately prior to his role with Wells, Dan moved out of the private equity environment and became a divisional Vice President of Finance for a $7B company that has manufacturing operations around the world In addition to his role at Wells Concrete, Dan has served in multiple leadership capacities with the Precast / Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and served as the Chairman of the Board in 2017. Dan holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of North Dakota and is a Certified Public Accountant.
