Machinery Operation: Operate manual lathes, milling machines, drilling presses, and grinders to produce or repair mechanical parts.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machining requirements and sequences of operations.
Quality Control: Measure and inspect finished products using precision tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair all equipment not requiring a technician in a minimum amount of time.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production metrics and document any deviations from standard specifications.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/ NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Proficiency in using manual machining tools and understanding of measurement tools and their applications.
Must be able to operate and maintain all equipment at Parker.
Responsible for proper administration of LOTO, confined space, and other OSHA guidelines.
May assist in design of process or modification of existing equipment.

Education required/ preferred:
