Role Summary
The Corporate QA/QC Manager is the single corporate authority for quality assurance and quality control across Hermanson's fabrication and field installation activities. The role owns and governs QA/QC systems supporting piping fabrication, structural steel, skids, sheet metal, plumbing, and general mechanical installation, with an initial and primary emphasis on piping and fabrication shop operations.
Periodic travel to fabrication shops and active projects (regional and national as needed)
This role establishes durable, auditable quality systems that project teams inherit and execute. It is a corporate leadership position, not a project inspection role.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Corporate QA/QC Ownership
Serve as the company-wide authority for QA/QC, welding, and fabrication quality
Establish and enforce a unified QA/QC framework across all mechanical trades
Maintain sole interpretation authority for applicable codes, standards, and company requirements
Exercise stop-work authority for quality or compliance issues
2. Fabrication & Piping Focus (Initial Priority)
Own and lead QA/QC system implementation and certification compliance for fabrication shops, with an initial emphasis on piping, skids, and structural steel.
Ensure shop practices, welding, inspection, and documentation align with approved procedures
Establish traceability, inspection points, nonconformance, and corrective action processes
Prepare fabrication operations for audits and owner/EPC review
Stabilize and integrate AWS, AISC, and ASME programs into one coherent system
3. Certification & Code Compliance Leadership
Own and maintain quality programs supporting:
AWS welding requirements
AISC (STD) structural steel certification
ASME (B31.1 power piping with Section IX welding only)
Lead certification applications, audits, surveillance, and corrective actions
Act as primary interface with auditors, Authorized Inspectors (AI), owners, and EPCs
Ensure certification scope remains disciplined and free of unnecessary expansion
4. Welding Program Management
Own the corporate welding program including:
WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, and continuity
Alignment between AWS and ASME Section IX requirements
Ensure welding practices in the shop and field conform to approved procedures
Determine appropriate use of third-party CWIs, NDT, and specialty inspection services
5. Multi-Trade QA/QC Standards (Phased Expansion)
Establish corporate QA/QC standards for:
Sheet metal fabrication and installation
Plumbing systems
General mechanical installation work
Define inspection points, documentation expectations, and acceptance criteria by trade
Phase implementation to avoid overloading projects while improving consistency
Audit projects periodically for compliance with corporate standards
6. Training, Audits & Continuous Improvement
Train shop personnel, project managers, superintendents, and foremen on quality requirements
Implement nonconformance reporting, corrective action, and root cause processes
Conduct internal audits and readiness reviews prior to external audits
Drive continuous improvement across fabrication and field installation
7. Cross-Functional & Strategic Support
Support estimating, procurement, and operations with code-compliant execution strategies
Participate in risk reviews where quality, fabrication approach, or certification impacts scope
Advise executive leadership on quality risk, capability gaps, and future certification needs
Qualifications (Required)
10+ years experience in fabrication, welding, piping, or mechanical construction quality
Demonstrated experience leading QA/QC programs at a corporate or multi-project level

Strong working knowledge of piping, structural steel, and mechanical installation practices

The Regional Service Manger reports to the Regional Operations Manager and is responsible for management of the BAS service team, service contracts, and projects for our customer base; primarily in mission-critical vertical markets. Essential Functions:
Act as the primary point of contact for BMS service for our Data Center and other large regional accounts in the Eastern Washington and Northeast Oregon areas.

Manage multiple concurrent large service and maintenance contracts and projects.

Schedule and coordinate Quarterly, Semi-Annual, Annual Preventative Maintenance services for our customers, tracking completion and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Respond to Customer Service Requests in a timely manner, schedule and track progress and completion of service requests and tickets, provide timely updates to our customers.
Coordinate and schedule Service Specialists and Technicians to ensure work schedules and quality expectations are met for multiple concurrent projects and service contract work.
Ensure detailed, accurate, and timely submission of Work Orders (WO), Method of Procedure (MOP) work plans, and follow customer's Modeled Change Management (MCM) procedures to ensure work is performed safely and to minimize risk to customer operations in live Data Center and other Critical
Process environments.
Manage the entire regional Service Team (6+ Service Specialists and Technicians), meeting with team members frequently to discuss career development, performance, and morale, promoting an environment of empowerment and employee satisfaction.
Frequently report service department status updates and manpower requirements to the Regional
Operations Manager and proactively managing staffing levels to meet customer needs and project backlog.
Collaborate with other regional teams (Deployment, Engineering, and Critical Projects) for manpower and resource sharing.
Coordinate and communicate directly with the customer and other contractors in a professional manner.
Onsite work to be performed in a high-security environment, following customer security policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Qualifications and Education:
Four-year degree (ME / EE preferred) or Two-year degree / apprenticeship plus equivalent work experience or (5+ years) automation / controls field experience required.
Tridium Niagara N4 Certification and Distech ECLYPSE experience strongly preferred, Siemens or Schneider experience a plus.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel required. MS project, or other PM software a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
Local travel required to Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington areas, with occasional overnight travel.

Envirocon is seeking a Health and Safety Officer for our project located in Wellpinit, WA. The Health and Safety Officer (HSO) performs primarily an implementation function for the project health and safety program. This implementation function will be in accordance with Project Health and Safety (H&S) policies and procedures, site Health and Safety Plan, and its referenced documents including OSHA standards and client health and safety policies. Proven experience and judgment are expected.
Travel: Local travel to the Midnite Mine site is required. Employee must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work may vary based on project schedule, timelines and workload.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent foundation of knowledge and experience in the construction operations and equipment typical of Envirocon project sites.
Possess writing skills necessary to document project activities.
Strong computer skills
Ability to effectively communicate with clients and subcontractors.
Understands and uses Envirocon's SOPs to increase efficiency, minimize risk and improve job performance.
Demonstrates persistence in performing job duties and demonstrates creativity in solving problems.
Possesses integrity & honesty toward company and clients.
Self-motivated and possesses desire to develop professionally and personally.
Health and Safety Technicians must be able to satisfy the DMV driving qualification of Envirocon and remain a qualified driver.
Capacity to mobilize to the project site at the direction and discretion of the Project Manager including assignments with travel status.

Professional certifications such as the GSP, ASP, CSP, CHST, or CIH

Education and Experience
High School graduate plus specialized training in the area of Safety or a Baccalaureate Degree in a related discipline is preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years related experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Implements the site-specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP) to include client's safety program and company policy and procedure.
Trains personnel including new hires, sub-contractors, vendors, and site visitors to the site HASP.
Takes a leadership role among other operations personnel as a mentor of safety culture.
Coordinates with Superintendents to ensure Job Hazard Analysis address site tasks and their hazards.
Maintains written documentation, such as a logbook or forms, sufficient to describe hazard monitoring, hazard control and attendance at training. This documentation shall meet quality standards intended for all project records including legibility, completeness, signatures/dates, and timely completion/submittal.
Coordinates with the safety supervisor and project manager to ensure that the individual's time and resources are available to meet the expectations for H&S functions as well as operations support.
Accepts guidance from senior H&S personnel in the technical execution of H&S related functions including calibration of equipment, field interpretation of direct-reading instrument results, identification of project hazards and their controls.
Assigns personal protective equipment (PPE) only by the written HASP, JSAs, and the Respiratory Protection Program.
Maintains an alert and focused field presence as an observer of operations.
Serves as safety and health competent person as defined by HAZWOPER standard.
Performs ongoing site safety inspections of activity areas.
Reports to the Safety Supervisor with regard to questions and issues regarding safety policy, its implementation, compliance strategies, provision of technical resources, provision for equipment vendor or technical information, incident investigations, and site document quality control.
Reviews and assists with preparation of JSAs and permits.
Communication with the client, regulators, and vendors will be only as directed by the safety supervisor and project manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.

* Strength and Endurance: Pipe Layer positions are physically demanding, and a high level of physical fitness is required.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills are necessary as proper completion of an assigned job and working safe will be highly dependent upon this ability.
* Flexibility: Ability to work in a number of diverse locations is pertinent, as work locations may change daily.
* Coordination: Balance, depth perception and eye-hand coordination are critical.
* Expected Hours: Hours will vary by job, location and season. Working a night shift may be required.

The Role
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) owns and facilitates tasks as outlined by the Project Manager or Project Executive, within the projects assigned.
Assistant Project Managers provide support and communication for successful project completion. APM's provide a focus on the day-to-day details of these projects, including relaying correspondence between field and office (both internally and externally), ordering equipment, and managing project documentation. These duties help the Project Manager/Project Executive ensure that the schedule and project goals for the job are met. It is critical that they perform this work within the policies, ethical standards and objectives of Hermanson Company.
The Assistant Project Manager's duties and responsibilities may be specialized toward HVAC and Plumbing Plan Spec type projects, Design/Build type projects or a combination of both depending on the experience and qualifications of the individual.
Work with the department leader on business/personal development plan
Develop submittal packages and check for accuracy compared to drawings and building standards.
Draft equipment POs and check for accuracy compared to drawings, submittals, quotes, and building standards.
Update equipment procurement logs.
Track delivery of equipment orders.
Understand construction schedules and how they were developed.
Assess drawing updates and determine if there are scope impacts.
Coordinate with the field, client, subcontractors, and vendors.
Understand the basics of estimating.
Quantity/Material takeoffs of engineered drawings.
Conceptual estimating from architectural drawings or no drawings at all.
Calculates and draft change orders as required within
Understand and execute all Hermanson's processes and procedures.
Work closely with Project Managers and Account Executives.
Understand how to complete and present monthly financial reports (Stats).
Meet and develop relationships with clients and coworkers (field and office).
Maintain and develop a working knowledge of the local construction marketplace.
Maintain and develop technical knowledge of mechanical system operations.
Update project budgets and change order logs.
Establish and assures that a document control system is in place and updated on a regular basis throughout all projects.
Assist the Project Manager and Account Executive in keeping all projects billed and assist in the collection of your invoices before they become 60 days past due.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000.
