More information is available on the company's website at: *********************** POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Hybrid role in Omaha, NE or Atlanta, GA 3 days a week in office, 2 days remote This position is a combination of base salary + commission SUMMARY Responsible for managing home office book of business, supporting the national expansion of Sequent Planning, a registered investment adviser, including support for the Investment Adviser Representatives (IARs); and partnerships with independent insurance agents and agencies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for management of the home office book of business, which includes regularly meeting with clients (in person; virtual and/or away from home office); Semi-annual (minimum) client reviews; ongoing review of client accounts; creation of performance reports, and management of client portals. Assists with the training and support of new IARs, which includes the technology platform, financial planning software, custodian platform (where applicable) and other opportunities. Supports the IARs by creating financial plans, helping with market research, answering IAR questions, recommending investment strategies; answering client questions about financial plans and strategies; giving financial advice; and involvement in annual business planning meetings with IARs. Supports the partner's business objective to become or add new IARs to their existing business model, or enter a referral arrangement and provide the full-range of IAR services to that client base from the Home Office, which will include business trips to meet clients in person. Acts as a main point of contact and deals effectively with queries from IARs and other parties through effective communication. Manages and resolves IAR service issues. Establishes and builds strong relationships with IARs and attends client meetings with IAR if required. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree or combination of experience and education. Four (4) or more years of financial services industry or related field experience Series 65 (FINRA Series 6/7 + Series 66) Life & Health License a plus Bilingual preferred This role does not support FINRA registration SKILLS Working knowledge of financial planning/advisory services and insurance services industries. Accident review and analysis discussion 7. Recommendations for loss controls needed to eliminate or control loss exposures and agreement to implement the same 8. Recommendation follow-up 9. Loss Control Opinion of Risk for review by Underwriting 10. Future needs and service planning. Assists in the development and presentation of programs and training seminars for clients and other departments in the Company. Responds to special requests from Underwriting Department and clients with prior approval from Loss Control Department Management. Develops and maintains Loss Control Service Plans / Instructions for multi-location clients being coordinated by Loss Control. Completes all work scheduled in regular service assignments or requests in a timely manner. Maintains membership and actively participates in professional organizations approved by departmental standards guidelines. Utilizes PC programs (MYTMM for Accident Analysis, Presentation Software, etc.) in preparing presentations for prospects and clients. Plans and performs work scheduling in a timely and cost effective manner. Performs special projects as determined by Loss Control Management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science preferred. (Loss control experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree, i.e., three years of Loss Control experience equates to one year of college.) Five years' experience servicing major accounts (multi-locations and $100,000 premium and up). Possesses a specialty in casualty and property loss control. Good communication skills, both written and oral and capable of making presentation to a group Good computer skills to include the use of Microsoft software, TMM internal programs (i.e.: Taurus, MyTMM, Microsoft Outlook, etc.) and other software Valid driver's license free of violations. Physically capable of performing the job requirements & walking, carrying and climbing. Capable of significant amounts of automobile and air travel. Salary range $135,000 to $150,000.
