The Wet Magnetic Particle Inspector is accountable for the function, duties, responsibilities, and performance defined in this job description. Responsibilities/Job Duties Perform wet fluorescent magnetic particle inspection per ASTM E709. Verify equipment calibration and inspection conditions. Interpret and evaluate indications based on acceptance criteria. Maintain inspection records and traceability. Segregate and identify nonconforming material. Maintain a clean and safe inspection area. Communicate inspection results to supervision. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma/GED or comparable experience. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform stationary work for the majority of the shift. Basic computer skills Knowledgeable in QA/QC concepts and methodologies. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. SNT-TC-1A compliant training and certification. Ability to meet vision and physical requirements. Familiar with API 5CT, ISO 9001, and other relevant industry specifications. Punctual and dependable Requires strong oral and written communication skills. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Sprinkler Perform duties in a cost-effective manner while inspecting structures which contain Fire Sprinkler Systems Correctly complete all Inspection related documentation Develop working knowledge of applicable NFPA and common materials and installation processes.
