Position Summary
The Insurance Verification Auth Specialist is responsible for securing financial clearance and completing pre-authorization for patients undergoing complex, high-dollar inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures, hematology/oncology treatments, and infusion services. Essential Functions
Secure pre-authorizations from insurance companies for a broad range of complex, high dollar healthcare services including inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures, hematology/oncology treatments, and infusion services.
Respond to clinical inquiries through insurance portals to support timely authorization approvals.
Review medical records and supporting documentation to ensure complete and accurate submission for ordered services.
Evaluate and process medical authorization requests efficiently to facilitate uninterrupted patient care.
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and patients to gather and relay information necessary for authorization decisions.
Meet established daily productivity standards to maintain operational efficiency and accuracy in authorization workflows.
Perform essential registration tasks such as loading insurance details, filing orders, and verifying eligibility
Maintain a high level of accuracy to reduce the risk of insurance claim denials and ensure financial clearance for patients.

Position Summary
The HP Projects & Growth Coordinator provides Human Potential support to MultiCare in relation to all mergers and acquisition activities. Takes the lead on due diligence and project calls and partners closely with the assigned project manager
Creates and provides a tracking mechanism for each transaction or project with real time updates.

Partners closely with the internal HP teams as new projects move through their lifecycle.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline
Minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resources experience preferably in a Total Rewards role (benefits and compensation) with experience in mergers and acquisitions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works closely with the COO, CMO and Director of Operations to understand the organization's strategic priorities and the projects related to these strategic efforts.
Creates long- and short-term project plans for the full scope of responsibilities of the Operations Team. This may include performance improvement initiatives, training programs and overall operational improvement projects.
Works to support project teams, workgroups and/or other clinical or administrative leaders to move key initiatives forward. Providing support for meeting preparation such as collecting input for agendas and meeting materials, assisting with preparation of meeting materials (i.e., PowerPoint presentations; agenda documents; handouts, etc.). Required Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in health management/administration, business, or another healthcare-related field is required. Five (5) years of experience in Healthcare/Public Health can substitute for a degree.
A minimum of three (3) years in general administration or project coordination, preferably with at least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare or public health setting.
Education & Experience
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills to effectively track, report on, and manage multiple projects and priorities.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $93,954.00 - $135,221.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
