Responsibilities
Welcome Center (Reception)
Professionally greet visitors, guests and Allied team members utilizing exemplary hospitality skills. Monitor visitor entrances remotely when not physically present in the reception areas. Maintain visitor logs.
Professionally answer incoming phone calls, providing the necessary information to callers or connecting callers to appropriate Allied team members. Able to be client centric and interact well with Allied team members, partners and potential clients. Incoming call volume can reach 15 per hour.
Coordinate facility tour scheduling and the completion of related documentation. Provide information on safety requirements and distribute visitor/guest PPE (personal protective equipment) and tour aids.
Maintain a welcoming and functioning office environment including associated areas.
Administrative Duties
Monitor office related supplies for ordering and restocking, including cleaning and paper supplies, printer and plotter supplies, snacks, beverages, etc. Works with the Facilities Coordinator on certain purchases.
Order company related swag (mugs, hats, shirts, bags, bottles, pens, etc.) in coordination with other Allied offices and the marketing department.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment, including the lobby and reception areas, the cafe and training area, the upstairs conference rooms, and all public spaces. Organizes and directs janitorial resources.
Update company events in calendars and company intranets, and schedule conference rooms for Allied team members. Inform staff of important information related to the office. Maintain information TVs and monitors for relevant information and messaging.
Fulfill shipping and receiving requests for office related matters and collect mail and parcels from area boxes.
Support in preparing travel arrangements ( including international travel) for Allied team members, partners and clients, utilizing company resources and programs.
Support and Coordination Duties
Assist office team members with general research, document management, compilation of data, preparation of reports and presentations, and other general office related items.
Support, coordinate and actively participate in the planning and scheduling of McGregor based special events such as quarterly meetings, workshops, OMT meetings, and PR events, securing any needed resources, materials, equipment and food and beverage.
Assist in HR related tasks, including onboarding events, company poll tabulations, maintenance of facility data, wellness programs and team development initiatives.
Provide administrative support to the local EVP including strategy & development items and initiatives, Huddle and Allied University programs, scheduling appointments and events, and creative content support.
Systems and Tools Proficiencies
Utilize Allied's CRM system with increasing proficiency to manage information as part of handling phone calls and managing responsibilities.
Utilize Google and Zoho office applications with increasing proficiency to administrative and support responsibilities.
Utilize Allied's travel booking system with increasing proficiency to support travel itineraries.
Respond to emails and messaging in a timely manner, and appropriately communicate messages and information to team members in different departments with conciseness and clarity.
Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
Use appropriate professional judgment to keep abreast of any changes, issues, or concerns that may impact daily activities and/or schedules.
Qualifications & Skills
Bilingual in English/Spanish is required - working proficiency levels

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance operations at the McGregor, TX fabrication facility, ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency to support structural steel, PEMB, and cladding production. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership in managing teams, and accountability for budgets and reporting to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians at the McGregor facility, developing process, providing guidance, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Major elements of the Director of Operations-Houston's responsibilities include to:
Influence the design of the new Houston facility, assisting with plant layout, existing site and product moves, and related readiness activities.
Provide leadership to the production and operational support teams, including Manufacturing, Planning and Materials Management, Shipping, Quality, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operational Admin personnel, to achieve plant safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity goals.

Candidate Profile

Experience in a custom flow control product manufacturing environment is a plus, as is experience with industrial machining and assembly operations. Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor supports the daily operations of the plant, focusing on the efficient operation of machinery, prioritization of work tasks, and ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment. This role requires hands-on learning of plant machinery, as well as active participation in safety protocols and routine plant maintenance. The Production Supervisor works closely with the production leadership team to monitor production, resolve operational challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Lead by example and provide guidance, training, and support to plant operators and other team members.
Promote a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently.

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Prioritize work tasks based on urgency, machine availability, production requirements, and team capabilities.

Plant Maintenance & Operations:
Assist in routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure plant machinery and equipment are running at peak performance.
Help identify equipment issues before they cause operational delays and work with the maintenance team to perform necessary repairs.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized equipment maintenance or repairs when needed.
Quality Control & Compliance:
Ensure all fabricated products meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of work-in-progress and finished goods.
Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
Participate in audits and ensure proper documentation for quality control, safety, and maintenance.
Machine Operation & Learning:
Learn, operate, and assist in the maintenance of various plant machinery and equipment.
Stay updated on machine settings, adjustments, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Work with the management team and senior operators to develop proficiency in all plant machinery.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all plant safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard identification, and emergency response procedures.
Promote a culture of safety by conducting safety briefings, identifying potential hazards, and addressing safety concerns promptly.
Report and document any safety incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions, and work with the safety team to resolve them.
Monitor plant operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and government regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).
Actively participate in all mandatory safety training, drills, and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.

Troubleshoot machinery issues or production delays and work with operators and maintenance teams to resolve problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
Provide real-time guidance on resolving equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, and operational delays.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in ongoing training and development to improve knowledge of plant machinery and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with the team and management to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost-saving measures, and workflow optimization.
Provide feedback on system inefficiencies and work with the management team to implement improvements.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment
A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally with exposure to plant machinery and maintenance.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about machinery and plant operations.

Education:

Job Summary:
The Project Manager/Estimator leads both preconstruction estimating and end-to-end project delivery for work originated from or fabricated at our McGregor, Texas facility. Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Plant Foreman to lead our steel manufacturing facility located in McGregor, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from raw material handling to final product assembly. The Plant Foreman will ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and mentor a team of welders, machine operators, material handlers and industrial painters. Assign daily tasks and ensure production schedules are met. Conduct performance reviews, manage staffing, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Monitor and optimize production workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Implement and maintain strict quality control standards. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.
Champion a culture of safety. Enforce all company and OSHA safety regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and machinery are in good working order.
Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure a steady supply of materials.
Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, quality checks, and maintenance logs.
Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and government regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).
Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Promptly report any accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, or potential hazards.
Actively participate in all mandatory safety training, drills, and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.
Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production goals and departmental objectives.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
Monitor own work to ensure it meets quality specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
Standard day shift, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, with flexibility to support production needs.
Depending on production needs, some weekend work may be required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 5 years in a steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing setting.
Education: A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, and assembly processes.
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, including saws, welders, presses, and cranes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Solid understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Ability to read, write, and understand basic English/Spanish to interpret/follow safety guidelines and work instructions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to [e.g., 50 pounds] regularly.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions common to a manufacturing facility (e.g., varying temperatures, noise levels, potential for dust/debris, wet floors).
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating equipment and handling supplies.

Working closely with production, quality, and global logistics teams, you will ensure that materials flow efficiently, shipments remain accurate and compliant, and logistics processes align with international project schedules.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate onsite logistics activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials for structural steel, Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB), cladding, and related components at the McGregor, TX factory.
Schedule container loading, assist with coordinating transport logistics, and prepare export documentation, ensuring on-time delivery.
Perform Bill of Lading (BOL) verifications, ensuring accuracy in documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, including packing lists, invoices, and export docs.
Oversee loading verifications, coordinating container loading operations, checking loaded marks, and ensuring safe and compliant transport logistics.
Prepare and maintain logistics reports, tracking progress, deviations, and key performance indicators for efficiency and on-time delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes, such as optimizing storage, reducing waste, and enhancing coordination with global partners.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company standards in all logistics and inventory activities.
Manage inventory control, including checking stock levels, updating records in specialized software, and conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
Handle materials reception processes, verifying specifications, dimensions, surface quality, and certificates, while reporting and addressing any non-conformities.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to align logistics with fabrication schedules, supporting prefabrication, assembly, and final inspections.
Collaborate and coordinate with the Allied Global Logistics Division at the company headquarters and additional campuses as required to fulfill the shipping requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and KPI monitoring for efficiency, deviations, and overall operational excellence.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, inventory management, or supply chain roles within manufacturing, construction, or fabrication industries.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) are a plus.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of logistics workflows, including bill of landing (BOL) handling, loading operations, materials reception, and inventory control systems.
Proficiency in inventory and Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software (e.g., Strumis or similar for stock updates and reporting) and familiarity with shipping documentation and export procedures.
Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, onsite environment.
Effective communication abilities to collaborate with diverse teams, vendors, and international partners.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Ability to read, write, and understand basic English/Spanish to interpret/follow safety guidelines and work instructions.
