Our Customer Service Team Members consistently earn $60, 000 - $75, 000+ per year in base salary and bonuses combined. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, address their insurance needs, generate service to sales leads, and ensure customer service satisfaction and loyalty.
REQUIREMENTS
License: an active Property & Casualty insurance license is REQUIRED
Skills:
o Minimum of 2 years prior property and casualty insurance experience REQUIRED

RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service:
o Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
o Proactively engage with clients to retain their business.
o Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, and claims processing.
o Provide detailed information about insurance products and services.
o Address and resolve client complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Client Retention:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving.
o Access clients insurance needs and provide comprehensive coverage solutions to address all potential risks.
o Implement retention strategies to reduce client attrition.
Account Management:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
o Process policy renewals and ensure timely delivery of renewal notices.
o Monitor client accounts to ensure coverage is adequate and appropriate for their needs.
Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with sales agents and other team members to provide seamless client service.
o Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products (and earn additional compensation!)
o Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
o Share feedback and insights to improve client service processes and policies.

Job Description
This role processes non-complex, non-technical claim related activities within established quality, productivity and process standards on specific losses as directed by management or a claim adjuster. The individual handles a single line of claims or a combination of claims from different segments. The individual is also expected to deliver compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for storage and maintenance of evidence required to pursue subrogation.
* Completes all necessary forms, logs documents into the system, and routes them to the appropriate parties.
* Generates and sends appropriate forms to insured/claimant for completion.
* Contacts or receives contact from customers or other claim related third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information to comply with quality and process standards.
* Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs.
* Receives, screens and routes incoming telephone calls and other electronic correspondence.
* Retrieves, prints, faxes, or mails supporting documentation to vendors or others as directed.
* Handles claim files (locates/requests files, files paperwork, reconstructs missing files, moves misfiled documents, sends to other offices, etc.).
* Performs clerical duties, including data entry, filing paper documents, email, calendar management, and word processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1+ year(s) of related experience and/or inventory management experience.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Basic knowledge of claims processing or insurance industry is a plus.
* Proficient in data entry and comfortable using claims or document management systems.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Life Actuary to join our diverse team. As a dedicated AI Strategy Leader you will join USAA's Enterprise AI Center of Excellence. In this role, you will develop and communicate USAA's AI strategy, create operational roadmaps, craft executive communications for senior leadership and the Board of Directors, and lead cross-functional pivotal initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of strategy consulting experience, ideally with a background in Analytics/AI and experience from a management consulting firm or internal company strategy team. An advanced degree and the ability to present to senior leaders are critical, as you will play a key role in crafting and scaling Generative AI initiatives across USAA!
Responsible for managing and communicating the progress and outcomes of business strategic and operational efforts with senior leadership throughout the planning process and ongoing. Provides thought leadership, resources, support, guardrails, and guidance to enable senior leaders across CoSA and enterprise to achieve strategic goals. Contributes to the sustainability of CoSA and functional strategies while also ensuring all production and expense targets are achievable for the plan horizon.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Conducts comprehensive strategic analysis employing advanced data analysis skills, to manipulate, interpret and study additional data sources to translate findings into comprehensive actionable insights for further business strategy development.
Synthesizes and interprets large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data to create narratives that communicate strategic recommendations These recommendations may include audience and market recommendations; vision, advantage, scope; experience guardrails; journey maps; prototypes; sketches; visual concepts; narratives; white papers; blueprints.
Maintains a deep understanding of business needs, goals, and challenges and connects all aspects of the business strategy to tell a cohesive, impactful story aligning to the enterprise corporate strategy.
Defines and delivers recommendations to enhance the business strategy practice, ensuring alignment of business strategies to the enterprise corporate strategy
Elevates experience related opportunities to USAA strategic planning process.
Implements and evolves functional strategies developed in partnership with the CoSA strategy team.
Understands and supports the execution of functional, CoSA and enterprise strategies with functional implications.
Partners with the CoSA strategy team on the USAA strategic planning process.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years of business strategy experience to include 4 years of experience leading strategy engagements.
Deep expertise in industries such as financial services and/or insurance.
Ability to identify strategic needs and lead all aspects of projects with sound business recommendations and alignment with key business partners.
Demonstrated experience influencing business decisions and driving strategic outcomes.
Demonstrated experience translating complex business strategy and vision into an executable business process and technology plan and successfully delivering component.
Demonstrated technical Consulting Skills including but not limited to, Hypothesis-driven problem solving; Primary Market research (e.g. interviews); Secondary Market research (e.g. desk research); Data analysis (e.g. what-if, sensitivity, etc.); Story Telling; PowerPoint / Excel; Presentation skills; Meeting Leadership
Advanced quantitative, analytical, written, and oral communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $143,320 - $273,930.
