The year 1999 is significant for IAB due to signing of the contract on cooperation with the Higher School of Management HEC (Paris, France) with support of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan, the first admission on the program “Master of professional management” was carried out in the same year.

In summer of 2010 83 persons - managers and specialists of the national companies of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" became the first participants of the aul camp.
Since 2010 IAB carries out the cultural and linguistic camp "Ulytau" — the project on studying of Kazakh language with the immersion to the language and cultural environment.
In 2010 the International Academy of Business opened the representative office in the West Kazakhstan Region (Atyrau).
IAB won the contest among employers of Kazakhstan “Senim -2011” in the category “Best Employer in two capitals”.
Winner of the contest “Orleu -2014” in nomination “Best social partner” among government and non-government organizations, business structures and media of Almaty.
In September 23-26, 2015 Almaty hosted the 23rd CEEMAN Annual Conference “Localization vs.
AlmaU held the Kazakhstan stage of "Skolkovo" Fund’s StartUp Tour - 2015.
AlmaU confirmed the reputation of the company №1 in the field of "Education" by the results of "Topzhargan-2016" rating of Kazakhstani companies.
