SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment for the manufacturing production operations. This position requires locating the source of problems and observing mechanical devices, removing defective parts and dismantling equipment, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, performing routine preventive maintenance, fabricating repair parts, maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventory, and providing mechanical maintenance information and reports. RESPONSIBILITIES - Essential Job Functions: * Performs production machine setups and troubleshooting issues with presses and molding equipment. * Performs preventive maintenance on machinery as needed or as directed by the Operations Team Lead. * Performs building maintenance including painting, plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, inspection of exit lighting, inspection of fire extinguishers, air compressor servicing and other maintenance as required. * Maintains a safe, clean and organized workspace. * Performs other maintenance duties as needed.
