He joined Emulex in May 2008 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was subsequently appointed to President and Chief Operating Officer in August 2010. Prior to joining Emulex, Jeff was President and Chief Operating Officer of QLogic Corporation, a supplier of storage networking solutions. Earlier, he spent 18 years at IBM Corporation where he held a variety of executive leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of xSeries, BladeCenter and Retail Store Solutions development. Jeff holds a Master of Science degree in management of technology from University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also a distinguished inventor in the computer systems field and holds 6 US patents.

David Nislick is the Chief Executive Officer for Excelitas Technologies Corp. Prior to being named CEO of Excelitas Technologies, Mr. Nislick served as the president of the Illumination and Detection Solutions (IDS) business unit of PerkinElmer. As part of Veritas Capital’s acquisition of PerkinElmer’s IDS business unit in November 2010, Mr. Nislick was appointed CEO of the newly re-launched company. As president of IDS, Mr. Nislick had management responsibility for the $300 million business unit, which included specialty lighting, sensors and other high-performance products for a variety of medical, analytical, energy-conserving, industrial, safety and security, and aerospace and defense applications. Prior to the creation of IDS in late 2008, Mr. Nislick held various leadership positions within PerkinElmer, including President of the Lighting business and Vice President of Business Development for PerkinElmer Optoelectronics. Prior to joining PerkinElmer, Mr. Nislick held senior marketing and corporate development roles with Corning Incorporated, Oak Industries and Axsun Technologies. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College and Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Business Economics from Harvard Business School.
