Kevin serves as the fifth Chairman and CEO at Stryker since it was founded in 1941 by Dr. Homer Stryker, an orthopaedic surgeon. Stryker is a leading medical technology company with over 40,000 employees. Kevin was born in India, grew up in Canada, and has lived and worked in four countries and four industries. He is the current chair of AdvaMed (Med-Tech trade association) and is a member of the Business Roundtable and Business Council. He is also active with community boards.

Mr. Patel’s lifelong drive and constant desire to discover what’s next has carried Amneal Pharmaceuticals from humble beginnings to an emerging global presence. Patel is the recipient of several industry honors including the 2011 Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year Life Sciences Award® and supports various philanthropic and charitable causes both in the US and abroad. Patel and his wife, Priti Patel, established the Niswarth Children Foundation in 2013, with the goal of bringing fresh water, sanitation, sustenance, and education to one million underprivileged children. Patel received his bachelor’s degree in commerce from H.A. College of Commerce, India, and his Bachelor of Science in business administration from New Jersey City University. He also received an honorary degree of doctor of humane letters from New Jersey City University in recognition of his efforts to serve others and help them transform their lives. Patel serves on the boards of the Generic Pharmaceutical Association, the Art of Living Foundation, the New Jersey City University Foundation, and the Family Reach Foundation.

Mike McCue (born 1968) is an American technology entrepreneur who founded or co-founded Paper Software, Tellme Networks, and Flipboard.

David 'Dave' Ellison is a Chief Executive Officer at SurfWatch Labs, President/CEO at ERA a.s., and Chairman at TerraGo Technologies. He has worked as Chief Executive Officer at Metron Aviation Inc and Board Member at Metron Aviation Inc. David works or has worked as Chief Information Officer at Primark and President at Ilumin Software Services. He studied at GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY.

Mr. Palay is one of our founders and has served as Chairman of the Board and as Chief Executive Officer since 2007. Mr. Palay previously served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of each of our predecessors from their founding until 2008. He also co-founded NimbleGen Systems, Inc., a molecular biology tools company, and served as its chairman of the board from 1999 to 2007 and as its chief executive officer from 1999 to 2000. Since their inception, Mr. Palay has served as a manager of the general partner or manager of each of the various Tactics II entities, which are private investment vehicles and are among our principal shareholders. He received a A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard College, an M.M. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law. We selected Mr. Palay to serve on our board of directors due to his in-depth understanding of our business and operating experience with business startups.

Vijay Balasubramaniyan, PhD is Co-Founder & CEO of Pindrop. Vijay has previously held various engineering and research roles with Google, Siemens, IBM Research, and Intel. He holds patents in VoIP security and scalability and he frequently speaks on phone fraud threats at technical conferences, including RSA, Black Hat, FS-ISAC, CCS and ICDCS. Vijay earned a PhD in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. His PhD thesis was on telecommunications security.
