The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality, safety, output, and cost performance of the LM Production Plant. This role manages all Warehouse, Production, and Assembly operations to ensure on-time delivery, production schedule attainment, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. The position works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Scheduling to ensure proper support from indirect departments and collaborates with Japanese staff to drive capital investment, process planning, operational changes, and Kaizen initiatives.

Process Load & Scheduling
• Manage a custom-oriented manufacturing environment with a focus on monthly achievement goals.
• Adjust processes based on material availability and order backlog to ensure short lead times and excellent on-time delivery.
Training, Skills, and Operational Capability
• Ensure employees are performing tasks correctly and safely; maintain up-to-date training plans and skill matrices.
• Support employee skill development and advancement.
Operational Management
• Establish efficient operating conditions for production equipment while driving scrap reduction and quality improvement.
• Conduct defect analysis when required and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
Reporting & Documentation
• Report significant issues to the Senior Vice President in a timely manner.
• Communicate appropriately with department managers, Japanese coordinators, and the President as required.
Subordinate Management
• Develop managers and supervisors to ensure high performance, consistent policy implementation, and a positive work environment.
Background Requirements
Education
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred, with an emphasis in machining, manufacturing, process management, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing senior-level managers.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a Japanese manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting per procedures developed by TMA. The position is responsible for adjustments to the perpetual system, reconciling to the book inventory monthly and provide purchasing functions to Linear Motion and Link Ball as required.
Random check stock locations in raw material, wipe any finished goods (TMA stock only) to insure accurate product locations. Make location adjustments to the perpetual system as required.
Verify all vendors receiving and put-a-way at TMA. Insure timely and accurate processing daily.
Investigate no-stock listings and verify discrepancies making inventory and location adjustments as required.
Verify returned goods from customers for re-work or replacement. Ensure proper paperwork and adjustments to the perpetual are completed.
Produce weekly/month end write up on cycle count results and related issues to inventory activity. Assist in the development of policies and procedures as required. Provide management with statistical reporting on inventory benchmarks.
Responsible for reporting material consumption to inventory systems.
Generate necessary documentation for shipping to TMA-center.
Perform material handling duties as needed utilizing the fork-lift when necessary.

Qualifications:
Incumbents must have the aptitude to acquire the basic skills required for this position within the 3-month orientation period; full understanding of and ability to create documentation (such as records and operation sheets, etc.). Very strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage/motivate people and communicate effectively to all levels within the company.

THK Manufacturing of America (TMA), a trusted name in precision manufacturing, is currently hiring a Wrap and Pack Processor to support our growing LM (Linear Motion) operations. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of something bigger, this is your opportunity.

Hours: working 2nd shift 12pm-8pm or 3pm-11pm. Training hours 8am-4pm
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough quality checks using gauges and visual inspections to ensure every part meets THK standards.
Carefully review materials, part numbers, and measurements before starting tasks.
Follow detailed work instructions, operation sheets, and procedures consistently.
Apply proper rust-prevention treatments and labeling techniques as needed.
Keep your workspace neat and safe at all times.
Safely move materials using equipment when necessary and ensure only approved items move forward in the process.
Support your team by helping meet production goals and maintaining smooth workflow.

What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or manufacturing experience is a plus.
Previous experience (1-2 years) in assembly or processing is preferred, but not required.
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work a full 40-hour week.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
A strong work ethic and positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

What You'll Do
As a Project Engineer at THK, you'll play a key role in developing, coordinating, and executing a variety of manufacturing projects. This role is both technical and collaborative, offering opportunities to grow your skills while directly contributing to THK's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Development: Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and systems used in industrial machinery.
Manufacturing Support: Prepare Manufacturing Orders (MOs) in support of the scheduling department; ensure timely and accurate processing.
Process Improvement: Analyze workflows and spatial utilization to identify efficiency improvements and support process innovation.
Planning & Reporting: Set project timelines, monitor progress, and report updates to upper management. Help prepare detailed engineering project proposals.
Troubleshooting: Proactively solve problems and contribute to both short- and long-term business goals.
Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with engineering, scheduling, and purchasing teams to ensure project alignment and timely material availability.
Communication: Participate in meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders; support project management activities.
Inventory & Materials Management: Issue Bills of Materials (BOMs), confirm material availability, and visually verify inventory on the production floor when needed.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
