Manage purchase prices from various vendors to ensure alignment with standard cost. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting per procedures developed by TMA. The position is responsible for adjustments to the perpetual system, reconciling to the book inventory monthly and provide purchasing functions to Linear Motion and Link Ball as required. Random check stock locations in raw material, wipe any finished goods (TMA stock only) to insure accurate product locations. Make location adjustments to the perpetual system as required. Verify all vendors receiving and put-a-way at TMA. Insure timely and accurate processing daily. Investigate no-stock listings and verify discrepancies making inventory and location adjustments as required. Verify returned goods from customers for re-work or replacement. Ensure proper paperwork and adjustments to the perpetual are completed. Produce weekly/month end write up on cycle count results and related issues to inventory activity. Assist in the development of policies and procedures as required. Provide management with statistical reporting on inventory benchmarks. Responsible for reporting material consumption to inventory systems. Generate necessary documentation for shipping to TMA-center. Perform material handling duties as needed utilizing the fork-lift when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Incumbents must have the aptitude to acquire the basic skills required for this position within the 3-month orientation period; full understanding of and ability to create documentation (such as records and operation sheets, etc.).     The 3rd Shift Team Lead is responsible for overseeing third shift manufacturing operations, ensuring production runs efficiently, and maintaining automated equipment during unmanned hours. This role provides direct leadership from the hours of 9pm-5am and production team members, supports machine uptime, ensures safe and efficient material flow, and serves as the primary point of contact for operational issues during the shift. Hours 9pm-5am Key Responsibilities Leadership & Shift Oversight Lead and oversee all 3rd shift employees, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. Provide clear direction and detailed work instructions to Material Handlers and team members, following guidance from the Manufacturing Support Manager. Monitor attendance, make staffing adjustments as needed, and coordinate vacation coverage. Assign work based on production priorities and department workload. Support and reinforce positive teamwork, communication, and accountability through effective leadership and soft skills. Monitor and perform standards of 5s/3T Production & Automation Support Ensure production lines and automated machines continue running efficiently during unmanned hours. Perform machine setup operations and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Monitor process conditions, operation standards, and cycle times to ensure work is completed within standard requirements. Escalate equipment or process issues as needed and coordinate with maintenance or management. Reporting, Documentation & Communication Report all significant issues, delays, or concerns in pass Ons to managers and supervisors Ensure accurate shift-to-shift communication and handoff of production status and open issues. Create, maintain, and manage documentation as needed, including operation sheets, process conditions, and improvement records. Training & Continuous Improvement Document training completion and effectiveness. Actively identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement activities and document process enhancements, workflows, and system updates. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Blocks/Rails manufacturing, grinding, and machining. Ability to oversee and support 3rd shift operations. Strong ability to keep machines running, including during unmanned hours. Ability to perform machine setup operations. Proficient in measuring using calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools. Familiarity with Fanuc controls. Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
