The Driver is responsible for driving company trucks and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This person will deliver and pick up finished aluminum materials and products while providing excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
CDL-A: Drive truck with capacities greater than 26,001 lbs. with flatbed trailers.
Understand and ensure consistent compliance with all federal, state and local laws / regulations, and company policies / procedures regarding the FMCSA.
Perform upkeep on equipment.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
Obtain signatures for delivered goods
Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.
Consistently provides prompt and courteous service to customers.

Secure cargo for transport, using straps, blocks, chain, binders, or tarps and protect materials from weather, as needed.

* Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
* Inspect workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine the accuracy of machine operation, using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and height gages.
* Must be able to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
* Assist with the training of machine operators to ensure the product meets customer requirements.
* Participate in daily roto-cube meetings with setup teams.

The CNC Operator maintains and observes machine operation to ensure accuracy and quality of workpieces.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.
Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
Maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
Maintain a safe work environment to make certain MIOSHA safety rules and regulations are followed.
Must be able to read a measuring tape.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in order to count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
Perform production assignments as directed by supervisor.
Must have effective communication skills in order to: read work orders or instructions to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances; and to comprehend or carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Clean and maintain machine and parts to keep equipment in optimal production conditions.

Conduct quality inspections using calipers, tapes, height gauges, check fixtures, and drop gauges.
Consult with quality assurance and inspect work pieces throughout the production floor to identify out of tolerance machining.
Consistently meet production standards as outlined by the production schedule, and manager without compromising quality and/or safety.
Follow and comply with ISO quality procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of work area.
