Job Description The successful candidate will be working in our maintenance department, supporting our production floor by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines used day-today to meet production goals, to include: troubleshooting equipment failures, routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical maintenance. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Respond time to any / all emergency equipment breakdowns. Report problems with equipment, such as leaks or other deficiencies and act as needed. Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program. Assess operational state of equipment, filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing and electrical systems and determine course of action if needed. Ability to complete routine assignments without direct supervision. Maintain housekeeping standards Perform additional duties as assigned Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by having the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and ensure safety policy and procedures are continually observed. Requirements: Skills & Qualifications 12-36 months of progressive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training Possess the skill and ability to perform all basic mechanical and electrical duties required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA / DOT and company. Maintain crushing and mobile equipment fleet. Operate and maintain company vehicles. Repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery, such as conveying systems, production machinery, screens, motors, and crushers. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.     The Maintenance Technician provides specialized skill support to the Maintenance Department. They will support facilities maintenance operations within a cannabis cultivation facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for completing assigned maintenance tasks involving basic to intermediate installation, inspection, and routine upkeep and repair of machines and equipment. This is a full time position at $17 per hour in our Jessup facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Help Maintenance Specialists understand and follow departmental processes. * Aid Assistant Maintenance and Maintenance Manager with new hire training. * Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists. * Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair and replacement. * Ensure proper performance and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems within the building. * Report all maintenance issues to Maintenance Manager. * Maintain record of scheduled maintenance procedures. * Perform custodial functions to clean and maintain the building both inside and outside. * Assist with the management of outside contractors for required service for the facilities and equipment. * Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws. * Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). * Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas. * Immediately inform Maintenance Manager of any system discrepancies. * Work within company continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity. * Provide support to additional cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed to achieve facility production goals. * Perform other duties as assigned by management.
