Job Description
Duran Golf Club is hiring a full-time Maintenance Operator - Golf Course to be part of a dedicated team responsible for the care of one of the area's top golf courses. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant outdoor environment while developing specialized skills in turf management and landscaping. It's a hands-on position that plays a key role in delivering the high-quality course conditions golfers expect from a premier facility.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 5:30am-2:30pm and rotating weekends (Friday-Sunday)
Friday: 5:30am-11:30am
Saturday & Sunday: 5:30am-8:30am
Essential Responsibilities:
Operate turf mowing equipment to maintain all course areas, including greens, collars, approaches, tees, fairways, roughs, clubhouse surroundings, and common grounds across the property
Perform ball mark repairs on greens and fill divots on fairways and tee surfaces
Change hole locations, reposition tee markers, and maintain all on-course accessories
Rake and condition sand bunkers to ensure consistent playability
Edge and maintain bunkers, cart paths, curbs, and parking areas for a clean, professional appearance
Trim and groom areas around irrigation heads, valve boxes, and yardage markers
Assist with topdressing, verti-grooming, and verti-cutting of greens for optimal turf health
Remove loose debris and litter from the course to maintain a clean and safe environment
Rotate and position course signage, including directional markers, ropes, and stakes to guide cart traffic
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50-75 lbs in various outdoor conditions
Strong communication skills with a positive and professional approach when interacting with colleagues, guests, and management
Previous experience in golf course maintenance is a plus, but not mandatory
Understanding of workplace hazards and adherence to safety protocols
Strong ability to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Job Description
The successful candidate will be working in our maintenance department, supporting our production floor by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines used day-today to meet production goals, to include: troubleshooting equipment failures, routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical maintenance.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Respond time to any / all emergency equipment breakdowns.
Report problems with equipment, such as leaks or other deficiencies and act as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.
Assess operational state of equipment, filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing and electrical systems and determine course of action if needed.
Ability to complete routine assignments without direct supervision.
Maintain housekeeping standards
Perform additional duties as assigned Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by having the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and ensure safety policy and procedures are continually observed.

Responsibilities & Abilities
Assume responsibility for the manufacturing of consumer foods which comply with all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Support our company and site safety policies and perform work related activities in a safe manner.
Perform the necessary activities to operate, maintain and clean production equipment.
Follow and improve documented operational, maintenance and sanitation standards in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) work environment.
Improve, modify, perform, plan, lead and execute preventative maintenance activities according to PM schedule and create work orders, in a timely manner to maximize performance of plant equipment to minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain all production line machinery and equipment to manufacturers specifications, including reading and understanding all machine manuals.
Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, and structural components.
Repair, maintain, rebuild, operate and troubleshoot all mechanical equipment.
Adjust all equipment as needed.
Monitor refrigeration equipment.
Execute plant prevention maintenance program.
Participate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installations.
Work with a variety of team members & operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met.
Communicate daily with Quality Control, Supervisors and Machine Operators.
Ensure that all food safety issues related to equipment, processes, and methods.
Adhere to all policies and procedures, reporting any non-conformities to the FSQA Manager, and the Plant Operations Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required)
Associates or technical degree (highly desired)
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance in a food manufacturing facility using production mixing and packaging equipment
Flexibility to workdays, nights, weekends and/or holidays to meet the needs of the business is required
Strong mechanical and trouble shooting skills is necessary
PLC experience is a plus
Solid computer skills including the use of Word and Excel
Refrigeration systems and HVAC knowledge is a plus
Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
Basic mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to safety standards.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift, push, pull & carry up to 50 lbs. as needed
Ability to work in changing environmental conditions, heat & cold
Frequent bending, kneeling, walking, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time.
