Role Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent hours in a related work environment.
Receive hazardous waste training within 6 months of initial employment, and annually thereafter in accordance with the applicable provisions of R.61-79.262.17(a)(7)(ii), (iii) and (iv)(D) of the South Carolina Hazardous Waste Management Regulations (SCHWMR).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers .

Record appropriate information on production sheet.
Clean work area and machine at the end of shift or as needed.
Napper Operator Job Responsibilities:
Obtain buggy of cloth from dryer to be processed according to process sheet. If it is bleached make sure the whiteness has been approved.
Sew buggy of cloth onto leader cloth or onto lot already threaded into the machine. Make sure the seam is straight.
All holes in the cloth as it enters the napper must be caught and sewn together.
Must keep hands from all moving parts while the napper is in motion.
When you are ready to doff off a buggy from the napper, cut the roll on a seam only. Write lot number and size on each end of every strand.
Once the lot is complete it must be pushed to the compactor for further processing.
Empty the lint bag at the back of the napper prior to end of shift.
