Alberto Torrado is a Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Alsea and Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at Alsea Europe.

Recognized technology and systems professional with experience since 1979 (+32 years) enabling aligned-to-business ITC solutions and results, within different industries, mainly in HR Services, Technology and Industrial, constructing a complete mix of skills and experience.

As CIO in large international corporations, I have integrated successful teams with a sense of pride, passion and commitment to achieve transcendental business transformations, enabling and supporting exponential and continuous growing through technology and systems solutions, providing efficiency, control, and a competitive advantage recognized internally, globally, within the industry and also externally.

As a member of the board of directors, I have been taking active participation and leading the strategic decisions, improving the growth, efficiency, innovation and positioning of the countries inside the region, through optimizing the investments, redesigning business processes and aligning client needs with the value proposal, applying “Client driven strategies” and priorities.

Because an extensive career with international companies, I learned to understand and interact with different cultures, idiosyncrasies, countries realities and local needs, to create effective synergies balancing Local, “Glocal” and Global strategies.

I also obtained experience establishing complete communication and coordination with the countries CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s and CIO’s ,effectively negotiating with all of them, demonstrating analysis and communication skills for aligning technology and business problems.

I have experience working in matrix structures and virtual multi-country teams, with global headquarters, and up to 18 countries subsidiaries and franchises simultaneously, also combining “home office”, and continuous travels.

Specialties: I am an outstanding relationship person, fluent in conversing with CxO’s executives not only about IT strategies, but also about how they support business strategies and delivers business value.

I have developed the ability to understand and speak financial & business languages, being able to talk about technology with very clear and common expressions.

I also implemented outsourcing, managed services, private cloud computing, software as a service and on-demand models.
