Your future role
As a Materials Planner, you will collaborating with suppliers on numerous innovative projects. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Managing purchase requisitions for material planning documents creation with internal suppliers
Owning the follow up with Procurement at the purchase requisition level maturity for launching material planning documents with external suppliers
Ensuring and updating the accuracy of material planning master data
Creating the material planning documents & respective source list and quota management
Communicating the material planning documents to suppliers and follow suppliers confirmation
Analyzing suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects
Identifying priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions
Organizing and maintaining regular reviews with suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances

Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is GROWING in Philadelphia! We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support the commissioning and troubleshooting of our new Aero trainset. The Field Service Technician provides engineering advice to the Amtrak maintenance workforce in order to improve equipment reliability of the Siemens Amtrak Fleet. Our Fire Technician's expertise and guidance will play a vital role in shaping the success of our projects and the continued development of our team members.
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will:
* Participate in Operational Testing, Verification, and Acceptance: Run routine reports to review system operation, conduct final inspections and testing, and support customer acceptance and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). You will assist in customer training on system operations and provide necessary plans and fire safety system documents for as-built drawings. Identifying code and non-conformance issues and making recommendations for system installation will be crucial
* Conduct Project Site Communication and Coordination: You may support scheduling trade contractors to coordinate start-up services and adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial Fire Alarm systems
* Must be willing and able to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
* NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 12 months of employment
* Available to work on call
* Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
* Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
* High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred
* 3+ years' experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial Fire Alarm systems
* NICET Level 1 or higher
* Ability to read/understand design and construction documents
