Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Data Center Technician - Cable & Fiber Installation (New Albany, OH) We're looking for skilled Data Center Technicians to join our team in New Albany, OH. This role involves installing and decommissioning network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
What You'll Do
+ Install and remove network and cabling infrastructure in data centers.
+ Perform cable pulling, terminations, labeling, and testing for copper and fiber.
+ Maintain data center cleanliness and follow safety and quality standards.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and building documentation.
+ Collaborate with team members to resolve project challenges.
+ Provide feedback on project progress and suggest improvements.
Schedule
+ Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
+ Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
+ (Schedule may change; flexibility is required.)
What We're Looking For
+ Comfortable working outdoors (OSP work required).
+ Prior experience with low-voltage cabling or data center work.
+ Ability to read floor plans and wiring diagrams.
+ Familiarity with wiring schemes, testing, and terminations.
+ Knowledge of telecom hand tools and job safety requirements.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on raised platforms.
Skills That Will Help You Succeed
+ Cable installation (Cat5, Cat6), structured cabling, rack and stack.
+ Fiber and copper cable testing and troubleshooting.
+ Fusion splicing (Ribbon/Single OSP/ISP).
+ Operating testers (DSX 5000, OTDR) and managing test results.
+ Dressing and furcating fiber trunks for splicing.
+ Installing ladder racking and seismic bracing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
