Minimum of 5-8 years workshop experience in a professional product development environment

Strong communication & interpersonal skills a must
Ability to read line drawings, perform basic math calculations, operate shop machinery

The Design Release Engineer will interact with suppliers and will work closely with internal and external groups such as testing and prototype labs, CAE engineers, vehicle program team, supplier operations and manufacturing plants.
Basics:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is required.
Must be from an ABET accredited university/or equivalent. BSME preferred.
3-5 years of design/development automotive engineering experience in Fuel Systems and/or UREA. Will consider an internship with Fuel Systems (UREA also considered) as part of that experience.

Summary / Role Purpose

Job Description Overview
As a Senior Engineer, Field Applications (Embedded Software), reporting into the North American sales organization, you will primarily be working closely with our field-based engineering team to support and facilitate customer-enablement projects that require various levels of software development. Your new role
As our new Entry Level Consultant, Site Solutions you will join our stellar Site Solutions team and work closely with Project Managers and other Consultants on environmental characterization, investigation, remediation, ecological assessments, and remedial strategy and implementation projects. Your key responsibilities will be:
Coordination and oversight of drilling, sampling, surveying, and laboratory services. Manage and/or perform of field work, including soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and indoor air sampling, hydraulic testing such as slug tests and pumping tests, soil boring and monitoring well installation, soil logging, and well purging and sampling.
Manage and/or provide oversight of implementation and field management (including operation, maintenance, and monitoring) of various environmental remediation systems (e.g., soil vapor extraction (SVE), enhanced in-situ bioremediation (eISB), in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), permeable reactive barriers (PRB), and groundwater extraction and treatment).
Manage and/or assist with the development of comprehensive site investigation work plans by participating in scope of work development, budgeting, and data analysis to characterize contaminants in sediments, soil, soil vapor, air, surface water, and groundwater.
Manage and/or assist with development of Conceptual Site Models and ecological assessments.
