Compensation range: $29.00-$30.00 per hour. ABOUT THE ROLE: Indochino is looking for an In-House Tailor for our Columbus location, you will be the point person for alterations on garments including suits, jackets and pants among others; managing workflow with offsite vendors, maintaining productivity levels in store, and offering an expert opinion on how to tailor a garment to ensure the best fit possible! Specifically, you will take ownership of the following: Perform and complete alterations according to Indochino's guidelines and service standards Provide sound advice on the product, calculating lead times to ensure the customer's expectations are accurately managed Strong knowledge of garment fitting, fabrics, styling, manufacturing techniques, garment construction and men's suiting Customer-centric approach, understanding and showing enthusiasm for the product and brand Press, steam, and spot clean garments/merchandise as necessary Follow quality control guidelines and garment inspection Meet or exceed required productivity levels (300+ units a month at a minimum is expected) and ensure every request is responded to in a timely manner Complete any rush orders, special requests and escalated situations Maintain an accurate record of alterations completed, utilizing the tools provided Coordinate alterations completed by Alterations vendor and work with them to resolve any potential issue Cultivate customer relationships to create loyalty and foster brand ambassadors Identify and communicate possible quality discrepancies, both from factory and from vendors Assist with customer fittings during high traffic situations at the Showroom at Manager's discretion Educate customers and Showroom personnel on proper fitting techniques Resolve alterations customer service issues or complaints and escalate unresolved situations as appropriate Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment and report any damage or broken equipment immediately Communicate supply needs to the Alterations Specialist to ensure all supplies are available at all times ABOUT YOU: You are exceptional at keeping things organized and you have impeccable time management skills. You know what it takes to provide top-notch customer service, and you pay attention to all the little details to make sure that the customers know they have been taken care of. It goes without saying that you have a love for fashion and can't get enough of the fast paced retail environment. In addition, you also bring with you the following: High level of applied tailoring skills Knowledge and ability to complete all alterations needed in store. Ability to bridge communication between Showroom staff and tailors Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work within tight deadlines Strong desire and aptitude to develop, learn and grow through hands-on experience Proficiency in Word, Excel or Google Docs is a definite asset A strong design sense and trend awareness across all fields Previous experience in Fashion Retail an advantage Ability to communicate clearly and interact with customers and coworkers in a personable, professional manner High level of ownership, accountability and initiative Flexibility to work retail schedules such as weekends, evenings, and holidays Desire to work in a fast-paced environment guided by iterative learning and team engagement. Sawbrook Steel Casting LLC is looking to add someone to our team who is experienced in repairing small and large patterns as well as core boxes for green sand and air set mold lines. We are willing to consider experience with other woodworking trades such as cabinet making or finish carpentry. Qualifications Excellent manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude Experienced in the safe operation of all manual woodworking machinery and power hand tools Responsibilities Construct gating and risers for simple to complex castings using traditional wood, tooling board, plaster, styrofoam, wax, leather, urethane, and epoxy materials Prepare and repair existing patterns and core boxes scheduled for production Build fixtures and templates to aid casting inspection Help plan, document, and communicate efficiently with all departments at the beginning of projects, followed by double-checking during construction to assure accurate, fast, and reliable results Learn from journeyman wood pattern makers and teach others as a team player Own, maintain, and strive to modernize a complete set of hand & precision measuring tools for wood pattern making Maintain and clean the pattern shop and its equipment according to schedule Participate in a continuous improvement program Requirements High school diploma or GED required - journeyman card preferred Must be able to work alone or as a team Must be at least 18 years of age Must have ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, sketches, shop travelers, and schedules Must be able to lift 70 pounds Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to wear the required personal protective equipment Must be able to work in various temperatures based on outside weather conditions Salary Description Starting at $24.00

Duties include but are not limited to: -Run & monitor designated Open Lab hours if during your shift (Wednesdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm). Open / Close Lab access areas - ensure all spaces are clean, swept, stocked & operational Check safety authorization on anyone using the Sewing Lab Monitor student activity during the full duration of Open Lab Replenish & distribute machine necessities to authorized users as directed by the Program Manager (such as thread, needles, tools, and supplies). -Run & monitor FDRM Boutique open hours (M-F 10:00 am - 4:00 pm) -Maintain Fashion Studio and Lab spaces (JL363 studio & lab, JL363A, Resource Room, Supply Room, JL361 lab) -Run & Monitor HC Alterations venture Email, phone, and interpersonal communications Customer Service Process orders/sales via POS System and online invoicing Organize & distribute alterations to meet deadlines, skill specialties, and customer needs. Sewing, steaming, mending and alterations as directed. Track and maintain supplies, marketing materials, and packaging *Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
