Real Estate Manager- Remote

The Real Estate Manager is a remote position, with travel 50% of the time throughout the Northeast and Southeast. We've got the boldest burgers on the block. POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for identifying, sourcing and presenting new Checkers'/Rally's restaurant sites. This position works closely with both Company Operations and Franchisees to proactively identify and negotiate locations that will support successful, high producing restaurants.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Real Estate
* Provides input into the appropriate site model for both traditional and non-traditional venues.
* Revises and maintains the site approval and handoff processes.
* Maintains the strategic market planning process for sales and development to meet or exceed development and opening goals.
* Develops and maintains the appropriate tracking systems in order to supply opportunities for sites to appropriate franchisee networks or company development.
* Creates systems and manuals to support company and franchisee site selections of new Checkers/Rally's locations.
* Ensures the delivery of brand standards in all areas of Real Estate.
* Develops a site pro-forma template.
* Creates and manages any new site volume estimation models necessary for appropriate site selection.
* Develops and maintains a real estate broker network in selected key markets and responds to broker inquiries that help feed the pipeline of sites for new development.
* Presents proposed sites to the Development Committee for review, input and approval. Communicates results to franchisees or appropriate Company operations leads.
* Provides asset management services to the brand as needed.
Service
* Initiates, expands, develops and maintains close, productive and resourceful relationships with peers, Franchise and Company Operations Leadership, Franchise Sales and Administration staff, and Construction staff.
* Establishes and manages relationships with franchisees, vendors and staff.
* Ensures successful franchisee relations and communications with Restaurant Support Center.
* Serves as a liaison between franchisees, vendors and Company personnel.
* Other duties as assigned
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Education
* Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university.
Experience
* At least 5 years real estate experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Over 5 years experience with site selection and real estate management.
Essential Skills and Abilities
* Ability to use Microsoft Office suite and Internet software and other systems and technology.
* Highly skilled in planning and budgeting
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information such as procedure manuals, Company communications or governmental regulations.

Develops and regularly maintains restaurant level financial models for reporting needs, analyzes financial and non-financial performance of both company and franchise restaurants, and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while collaborating cross-functionally throughout the business.
Provides guidance and assistance to direct reports while leading the development and testing of financial models to accurately reflect and assess company and franchise performance including sales, cost of goods sold, labor, and other restaurant managed costs along with modeling out capital investment, cash flow, and balance sheet items as needed. Modifies these models to reflect any business changes, management decisions, and market impacts. Identifies opportunities for improving analysis processes and procedures and provides input and expertise in the development of systems, procedures, and controls.
Manages assigned components of the corporate and field budgeting and forecasting process by researching and documenting driving assumptions and testing and analyzing with various scenarios.
