Chugach Government Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced NDT Level III / Weld Program Lead to join our team. The incumbent would be responsible for leading the NDT Inspection program and lead the welder/brazer qualification program. The NDT Level III shall be responsible for enforcing all company and contract-required policies and procedures related to welding, hot work, and overall workmanship. This position provides direct oversight to ensure work is executed safely, compliantly, and in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
Prior to the start of any task involving welding or hot work, the NDT Level III will engage with the assigned production team to confirm readiness. This includes verifying that all required materials, consumables, and equipment are available to properly construct containment and ensure effective fume extraction. The NDT Level III will also validate that personnel possess the appropriate PPE and safety equipment, as well as any required testers, documents, and job-specific certifications. The position is located in Chesapeake, VA. The position may require local travel, as well as non-local travel.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Responsible for the Chugach NDT Program including NDT personnel training, certification, and developing, qualifying, and approving NDT inspection procedures. Also responsible for developing and approving weld procedures as needed.
* Maintains all Weld / Braze certifications for Chugach with continuous monitoring for renewal or recertification needs and maintaining welder qualification records

Job Overview
This position is in support of the US Coast Guard C5I Service Center's Automated Circuit Card Assembly Support (ACCAS) program. The position is to provide Miniature/Microminiature (2M)/Module Test and Repair (MTR) Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) for Gold Disc/Pinpoint Test Program Database (TPD) Development and Certification services. Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Working with USCG COR, Subject Matter Experts, and Product Line Managers the SME will research and identify appropriate solutions to non-standard issues facing legacy electronic systems.
* Assemble, configure, and interface Pinpoint hardware systems and sub-systems into one complete, centralized automated testing console. Develop and interface existing hardware fixtures for automated testing of new circuit card assemblies at the Portsmouth facility and develop and fabricate new test fixtures for testing development and use. Will fabricate test jigs in conjunction with reverse engineering of COTS equipment when required.
* Engineering development of Pinpoint TPD's & Gold Disk Routines & test jig fabrication design for diverse systems that are not currently supported along with technical engineering advice to determine testing requirements and/or equipment modification.
* Conducts tests or experiments requiring selection and adaptation or modification of a wide variety of critical test equipment and test procedures; sets up and operates equipment; records data, measures and records problems of significant complexity that sometimes require resolution at a higher level; and analyzes data and prepares test reports.
* Develop and provide Silver/Gold Disk routines for Coast Guard Owned (CGO) equipment as assigned by C5ISC Portsmouth.

* Capture 3D models of internal and external sites, towers, structures, and equipment using photogrammetry and LiDAR technology.
* Capture high-resolution two-dimensional (2D) ortho mosaic aerial imagery using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or similar equipment, ensuring a Ground Sample Distance (GSD) of 2-5 cm per pixel to meet high spatial accuracy and inspection-level detail.
* Ensure models are georeferenced to meet integration standards for ArcGIS. Accuracy for 3D imagery must achieve the same GSD of 2-5 cm per pixel for photogrammetry and LiDAR, ensuring fine-detail resolution.
* Provide BIM models that adhere to level of development (LOD) 300 for electronic systems and LOD 200 for infrastructure, ensuring accuracy in both.
* Capture Networks and Power Distribution: Model both local and external network connections, showing system interconnections and accurately mapping power distribution.
