Alvarado Parkway Institute is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Full Time Housekeeper. Housekeeping focuses on maintaining the sterility, sanitation, and environmental safety of patient rooms, work areas, hallways, and offices. In this role, you remove obstacles, sweep up debris, disinfect surfaces and equipment, change and launder linens, and attend to a variety of other housekeeping tasks that ensure the hospital is safe and sterile. This plays a significant role in preventing further illness and infection from spreading. Housekeeping and janitorial work are vital to the functioning of any medical facility.
**This position is for the AM Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Must be available to work weekends.**

Requirements
Housekeeper Responsibilities:
Cleans floors in patient and non-patient areas.
Removes trash and waste from designated areas of facility.
Removes and replaces soiled linens from designated patient areas.
Maintains facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion.
Maintains documentation and records related to department operations.
Other duties as assigned.

The Mental Health Worker is responsible for monitoring patients and provides basic nursing care to all patients under RN supervision, supports therapeutic milieu and ensures the safety and well-being of patients. Position Description:
Actively recruit and ensure a strong pipeline of diverse Health Scholar candidates on an ongoing basis by attending recruitment events such as fairs and presentations, cultivating relationships with campus career centers, professors, counselors and others, engaging student organizations through presentations, flyering and other potential opportunities

Our drivers provide safe and timely transport of adult psychiatric patients. Our drivers communicate with the clinical team members regarding patient status changes, and with co-workers to adjust routes as needed to efficiently transport clients to & from home. Must have the ability to communicate comfortably with people, must be able to fluently converse in English, knowledge of San Diego County communities a plus.
Required hours of availability: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
9:00 am - 5:00 pm Weekends, we offer a weekend shift differential for this position.

As a Counseling Trainee you will provide direct services to patients that are hospitalized due to currently experiencing acute mental health symptoms. These services include group and individual therapy, danger to self or to other assessments, addictive disorders assessments and developing behavior plans for patients engaging in harmful or self-destructive behaviors. Counseling Trainee will be provided with individual supervision, didactic training, and group supervision weekly.

Conducting psycho-social assessments

Job Description
Alvarado Parkway Institute is seeking a qualified clinician, licensed or registered to join our team as a Full-Time Treatment Coordinator for our Outpatient Services Program in San Diego, 5538 University Avenue. Clients served at the San Diego site include mono-lingual Spanish speakers, persons with trauma and abuse, and people who may be navigating an intellectual disability and a co-occurring mental health issue. Mindfulness and SMART recovery based treatment is also provided at this site.
The successful candidate will have sound clinical experience in the facilitation of group psychotherapy, can provide brief solution-focused individual psychotherapy and have excellent documentation skills. Familiarity in developing treatment plans, self-harm intervention plans, and conducting psychosocial assessments preferred.
Job Type:
This is a Full-Time, Monday thru Friday position
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, MFT, psychology, or equivalent master's degree required.
Registration or Licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, or Board of Psychology is required.
Licensed with BBS or BOP preferred.
Strong clinical skills, experienced in facilitation of group therapy; time management skills.
