What will you be doing?
As a Director, you will have the opportunity to work with our highly motivated and effective team of professionals on a variety of interesting projects across different industries including but not limited to manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services as well as healthcare, software & technology, energy and financial services. You will provide our clients with an integrated due diligence approach that goes beyond traditional quality of earning analyses and focus on key value drivers for corporate clients (and private capital to a lesser extent). Our integrated due diligence approach combines our deep operational, functional and industry expertise with Big Four quality financial accounting and tax services to drive value throughout the investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include:
* Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
* Effectively lead the team in conversations with clients, lenders and other stakeholders.
* Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and proactively consult with Managing Directors, Senior Directors and other senior members of the team as appropriate.
* Oversee all aspects of deals with limited guidance from Senior Directors or Managing Directors.
* Manage multiple chargeable and non-chargeable projects of varying size and complexity.
* Identify potential transaction risks and implement strategies to address risks.
* Take responsibility for developing a full / comprehensive due diligence report.
* Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
* Communicate regularly with clients regarding engagement matters (e.g., billing, status updates, preparation of scope of procedures, scope changes, request lists).
* Effectively manage day-to-day client interaction and relationships and continue to emphasize the capabilities of A&M to clients.
* Develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks and effectively manage problem resolution.
* Help engagement executives in maximizing the value the client is receiving from A&M (i.e., monitors engagement leverage, efficiency of staff, and appropriateness of T&Es billed by all team members).
* Proactively recruit, train, and develop individuals of all levels for CTG.
* Engage in training initiatives, including developing and teaching courses as appropriate
* Display a core understanding of all CTG services and strive to cross-sell CTG and other A&M services, as opportunities arise.
* Abides by risk management guidelines and engagement review memo procedures.
* Gather applicable conflict check information and coordinates with Managing Directors to set up engagement codes and other engagement requirements.
* Assist Managing Directors and Senior Director in sales and business development efforts.
* Contribute to sales pursuits by generating new client business and/or adding on business from current client.
* Appropriately manage engagement risk and potential client or engagement issues.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 8 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm
* Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting and/or related major
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of obtaining one
* Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting
* High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with CFO Clients: Partner closely with our CFO clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions that drive business performance.

As a Senior Director of Finance Technology & Data Enablement within FTI's Office of the CFO ("OCFO") Solutions practice you'll collaborate closely with our CFO clients. You will partner with our OCFO consulting teams to design and develop cutting edge analytical solutions that address challenging and complex business issues.
We are seeking a collaborative and "hands-on" leader energized by the opportunity to join a team to create value for clients, while possessing sound business judgement and problem solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with CFO Clients: Partner closely with our CFO clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions that drive business performance.
* Background in delivering ERP and EPM Solutions with a Finance & Accounting led approach: The candidate will have functional knowledge and understanding of the data structure for one or more ERP and EPM solutions and ability to leverage ERP and EPM data sets to drive data-drive insights.

* Integration Strategy: Develop methodology/approach between financial and FP&A reporting/forecasting, data strategy & enterprise wide technology infrastructure & management.
* Lead Data Enablement Assessment: Assess CFO and finance and accounting technology tools and data flows across financial and operational systems to identify opportunities for enriching the finance and accounting team's reporting and analytics infrastructure, enhancing business insights.
* Design Reporting/Dashboard Solution Design: Develop and implement dynamic reporting tools leveraging ERP and EPM data that enhance decision-making, support profitable revenue growth, and optimize costs. Collaborate with finance and business counterparts to design bespoke solutions / tools including data visualizations and dashboards that integrates with the client ERP and/or EPM solutions. Document functional and technical requirements, lead proof-of-concept solution development, and support clients with implementation planning and testing/validation.
* Manage Data Extraction, Transformation, and Analysis: Oversee the extraction, transformation, and analysis of data from client systems ERP and/or EPM solutions / databases. Identify, capture, and/or integrate new or disparate data sources and integrate with the ERP data.
* Develop Finance and Accounting led Data and Management Strategy: Utilize data-driven insights and structure of finance chart of accounts to help CFOs create strategies that maximize performance and meet the evolving demands of their roles. Support client's in the development of finance and accounting led data management strategies to lead efforts & assist clients with diverse data management initiatives, including data cleansing, data governance, and data reconciliation.
* Deliver Project Management: Drive alignment between business users, finance, and IT client teams to support end-to-end project delivery as a data and technology enablement subject matter expert.
* Lead Practice Development: Hire, manage, and upskill the data management capabilities of the OCFO team to support the efficient execution of projects. Foster the development of reporting, dashboarding, and data aggregation and analysis skills using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Alteryx.
* Provide Thought Leadership: Collaborate with OCFO consulting teams to identify and pursue innovative data enablement "use cases" that further strengthen our core capabilities in delivering reporting and financial insights to our clients. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously improving our service offerings and methodologies.

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance, or management information systems) with a strong quantitative and programming background.
* 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting, FP&A and finance technology (ERP, EPM and bolt-on solutions), data analytics, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of accounting & finance process, data flows, and experience in assessing and enhancing data infrastructure working on behalf of CFO and the finance & accounting organization.
* Strong finance and data management (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.) skills with the ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries, as well as skills with one or more cloud-based computing platforms.
* Strong background in data analysis and visualization, and familiarity with tools such as Excel/VBA, Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI.
* Demonstrated ability to lead matters requiring advanced analytical approaches, database design and complex data modeling.
* Experience working with complex data environments including data extraction, transformation, and analysis from diverse data sources.
* Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to multitask.
* Experience in developing constructive relationships with a wide range of different stakeholders and ability to think "out of the box" to provide suggestions on ways to improve the practice.
* Willingness to travel as needed to client sites.

About The Role
FTI Consulting is seeking a Director to join our growing Mergers, Integrations, & Carve-Outs team. The Director will work with clients in domestic and multinational companies across various and diverse industries.
The Director will work with our clients and teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness at all stages of integrations and carve-outs; from helping assess and identify inorganic growth opportunities, to carving out and divesting parts of the business and every aspect in-between. What You'll Do
In FTI Consulting's M&A Advisory practice, we provide transactions support and advisory to organizations undergoing major transitions, such as mergers and buy- and sell-side carve-outs. We maximize the value of transactions by mitigating risk, minimizing business disruption, and accelerating the evolution to the new company operating model. Our team supports clients throughout the entire M&A transaction life cycle, from pre-deal efforts through post-integration, to drive value through the successful execution of strategic objectives while optimizing revenue and cost synergies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the junior team on multiple tasks across a consulting engagement including modeling and client presentations
* Supervise research and analytics artifacts and demonstrate team lead-facing or client-facing analysis and insight development
* Utilize business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to perform and oversee tasks including: 13-week cash flow models, 3-statement models, and pro-forma scenario models
* Assess standalone, one-time and stranded costs in a carve-out situation
* Provide clean room services
* Execute Day 1 through Day 100+ cross-functional interim and desired state planning, including timing for revenue and cost synergy capture
* Design and negotiate transition service agreements (TSAs)
* Design target state customer experience (CCXP) models
* Develop and implement plans for revenue acceleration and sales effectiveness
* Develop, create and implement organizational design changes, culture and change management programs and pre- and post-close communications plans
* Develop work breakdown structure, scope, and/or problem solve for direct functional areas, considering cross-functional downstream and upstream impacts
* Lead senior client-facing meetings and take full responsibility for client deliverables, including reports, written analyses, and presentations
* Lead information sharing sessions and serve as a Subject Matter Expert on workstream areas that align with past experiences and skill sets

The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. About the Role
In FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities will include:
* Provide technical expertise and experience at an advanced level; participate in managing client relationships, client service and practice management.
* Supervise and direct client engagements: provide technical expertise, perform analyses, supervise and guide consultants and senior consultants.
* Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing work product, financial statements, models and reports; conducting discussions with clients about status and results of work performed; preparing and reviewing work plans; ensuring assignments are carried out within scope, budgeted time and delivery commitments; following progress of engagement, updating Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors; helping resolve analytical and technical problems as they arise.
* Apply business, economics, finance, accounting and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines (e.g. financial modeling, ratio and comparable company analysis, review and analysis of financial statements and projections, assessing business plans, conducting due diligence, etc.)
* Understand, synthesize and analyze large amounts of data associated with complex restructuring, due diligence and litigation cases. Provide relevant analysis and summaries for interested parties, including clients, FTI management or attorneys.

What You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
* 5+ years of post-graduation professional work experience in Public Accounting, Consulting, or other Professional Services environment.
* In-office presence required at least three days per week, unless traveling for client or business needs.
* Ability to travel up to 80% to clients and FTI offices.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with bankruptcy processes and procedures, restructuring troubled companies or related financial, analytical experience.
* Excellent project management skills and proven capabilities in managing a team.
Demonstrate ability in the following areas:
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Analysis of financial statements
* Preparation of financial models such as three-statement models
* Analysis of cash flows and 13-week forecasts
* Familiarity with bankruptcy, restructuring processes
* Familiarity with bankruptcy documents (first day motions, restructuring support agreements, plans of reorganization, disclosure statement, etc), and credit agreements
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
