* Digital Finance Transformation Expertise and proven implementation experience

About The Role

What You'll Do
The Finance Transformation Director (or Senior Director) will lead teams on the ground to reduce complexity and cost within the Finance function, improve service levels and process digitalization / automation to enhance efficiency. This role will be heavily client-facing and the candidate will be expected to function as a team or workstream leader on finance transformation projects.
* Lead end-to-end Finance Transformation projects across key areas including: Finance function assessments, finance function capability stand-up and optimization, operating model design, service delivery model program design and implementation (i.e. shared services, centers of excellence, outsourcing, and global business services), cost reduction programs, process optimization and automation, and working capital optimization.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with CFO Clients: Partner closely with our CFO clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions that drive business performance.

Support client's in the development of finance and accounting led data management strategies to lead efforts & assist clients with diverse data management initiatives, including data cleansing, data governance, and data reconciliation.
* Deliver Project Management: Drive alignment between business users, finance, and IT client teams to support end-to-end project delivery as a data and technology enablement subject matter expert.

The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. About The Role

What You'll Do
As a Senior Director of Finance Technology & Data Enablement within FTI's Office of the CFO ("OCFO") Solutions practice you'll collaborate closely with our CFO clients. You will partner with our OCFO consulting teams to design and develop cutting edge analytical solutions that address challenging and complex business issues.
We are seeking a collaborative and "hands-on" leader energized by the opportunity to join a team to create value for clients, while possessing sound business judgement and problem solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with CFO Clients: Partner closely with our CFO clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions that drive business performance.
* Background in delivering ERP and EPM Solutions with a Finance & Accounting led approach: The candidate will have functional knowledge and understanding of the data structure for one or more ERP and EPM solutions and ability to leverage ERP and EPM data sets to drive data-drive insights.
* Hands on Finance and Accounting Delivery: Execute complex projects for our CFO clients that leverage data enablement to deliver bespoke solutions in functional areas that include, but not limited to, technical accounting, accounting close & reporting, billing & collections, A/P management and FP&A reporting and planning.
* Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with CFO and finance and accounting clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
* Offer Strategic CFO Advisory: Provide strategic advisory services to clients, helping them navigate financial, accounting and operational challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
* Set-up data environment, architecting technical design for solution development: Build cloud based data stack to transform client data for financial reporting and data insights to build a culture of data enablement for our financial advisory practice
* Integration Strategy: Develop methodology/approach between financial and FP&A reporting/forecasting, data strategy & enterprise wide technology infrastructure & management.
* Lead Data Enablement Assessment: Assess CFO and finance and accounting technology tools and data flows across financial and operational systems to identify opportunities for enriching the finance and accounting team's reporting and analytics infrastructure, enhancing business insights.
* Design Reporting/Dashboard Solution Design: Develop and implement dynamic reporting tools leveraging ERP and EPM data that enhance decision-making, support profitable revenue growth, and optimize costs. Collaborate with finance and business counterparts to design bespoke solutions / tools including data visualizations and dashboards that integrates with the client ERP and/or EPM solutions. Document functional and technical requirements, lead proof-of-concept solution development, and support clients with implementation planning and testing/validation.
* Manage Data Extraction, Transformation, and Analysis: Oversee the extraction, transformation, and analysis of data from client systems ERP and/or EPM solutions / databases. Identify, capture, and/or integrate new or disparate data sources and integrate with the ERP data.
* Develop Finance and Accounting led Data and Management Strategy: Utilize data-driven insights and structure of finance chart of accounts to help CFOs create strategies that maximize performance and meet the evolving demands of their roles. Support client's in the development of finance and accounting led data management strategies to lead efforts & assist clients with diverse data management initiatives, including data cleansing, data governance, and data reconciliation.
* Deliver Project Management: Drive alignment between business users, finance, and IT client teams to support end-to-end project delivery as a data and technology enablement subject matter expert.
* Lead Practice Development: Hire, manage, and upskill the data management capabilities of the OCFO team to support the efficient execution of projects. Foster the development of reporting, dashboarding, and data aggregation and analysis skills using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Alteryx.
* Provide Thought Leadership: Collaborate with OCFO consulting teams to identify and pursue innovative data enablement "use cases" that further strengthen our core capabilities in delivering reporting and financial insights to our clients. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously improving our service offerings and methodologies.

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance, or management information systems) with a strong quantitative and programming background.
* 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting, FP&A and finance technology (ERP, EPM and bolt-on solutions), data analytics, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of accounting & finance process, data flows, and experience in assessing and enhancing data infrastructure working on behalf of CFO and the finance & accounting organization.
* Strong finance and data management (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.) skills with the ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries, as well as skills with one or more cloud-based computing platforms.
* Strong background in data analysis and visualization, and familiarity with tools such as Excel/VBA, Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI.
* Demonstrated ability to lead matters requiring advanced analytical approaches, database design and complex data modeling.
* Experience working with complex data environments including data extraction, transformation, and analysis from diverse data sources.
* Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to multitask.
* Experience in developing constructive relationships with a wide range of different stakeholders and ability to think "out of the box" to provide suggestions on ways to improve the practice.
* Willingness to travel as needed to client sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA or other advanced degree in a related field
* Experience in a financial advisory consulting environment
* Familiarity with core finance and accounting processes for accounting & FP&A

About The Role

About The Role

About the Role
Our Data and Technology Transformation Practice helps corporates, private equity firms and other constituencies build long term competitive advantage, accelerate revenue growth and drive investment valuations while optimizing cost. We bring together lean, fast moving teams of expert technologists, digital specialists, and data scientists to advise our clients on their digital transformation agendas and transaction needs.
Our transactions advisory works with clients to understand the impact of rapidly-evolving digital paradigms and emerging technologies on the future of their business, translating that into an executable strategy and blueprint that combines business model innovation, customer experience strategy, modern technology and data architectures with a rigorous focus on planning and execution.
Our transactions advisory works with clients on their high stakes transactions needs ranging from acquisition and divestment strategy to technology and digital due diligence, merger and acquisition (M&A) integration planning and carve-outs.
What You'll Do
* Work closely with our M&A clients to plan for and execute any one of several projects, including M&A Transaction related technology due diligence, merger integration, buy-side carve-outs, sell-side carve-outs, and technology transformations (re-platforming, outsourcing, modernization, optimization, automation, digitization, etc.).
* Collaborate with Transactions Architects from other areas of business during M&A deals, and analyze existing technology systems, software applications, and business processes Evaluate underlying technology landscape within enterprise organizations to make recommendations
* Establish the relationship between business strategy and technology (and vice versa) to deliver impactful results
* Formulate strategic investment summaries, prioritized risk mitigation analyses, and long-term technology-based strategy for both pre-close and post-close projects
* Prepare draft written analyses and other reports for third parties, as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities
* Prepare presentations and quantitative exhibits for clients and third parties, as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities
* Stay abreast of technology trends and their potential application, and help clients understand the 'art of the possible' with innovative and disruptive technology solutions
* Execute on longer term integration and carve out execution projects helping clients' transition to new technology solutions that will enable scale and support future acquisitions. Work will include key workstream leadership, developing requirements for new applications and/or infrastructure, software or hardware vendor selection, development of a transition service agreement (TSA) and/or assistance with program management office (PMO) activities
* Help build and maintain key project and business development related artifacts to support project delivery and business development pursuits
* Participate in business development activities for new and existing clients by working with other FTI professionals to identifying unique opportunities and development and presentation of proposals and related materials

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
* 8+ years of combined post-graduate professional experience
* Consulting or professional services experience
* Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with information technology due diligence engagements from either the buy-side or sell-side perspective

* Proven experience in working with senior business and technology representatives on digital and technology matters
* Demonstrated experience in leading business development, writing proposals, and presenting at orals

About the Role
FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Director in Dallas to join our growing Transactions Financial Due Diligence team. Our Financial Due Diligence team is aligned with FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization.
In FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization, we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional opportunities faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.
The Transactions Financial Due Diligence team offers competitive advice and support by evaluating the risk/return considerations in all stages of the deal continuum. Areas of focus include: Quality of Earnings (EBITDA), Working Capital, Quality of Net Assets, Forecast, Debt and Debt Like Items, Customer/Product/Channel/Category sales and margins, inventory costing and bill of materials.
What You'll Do
* The Senior Director collaborates with our clients and internal project teams across the entire deal life cycle. You will use your strategic style, cross-functional expertise, and deal skills to:
* Provide financial and accounting related consulting services in the Corporate Finance practice areas
* Prepare, review, and evaluate historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow and deal valuation
* Perform industry and company research and assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
* Provide support and direction to maintain communication with clients and staff members on engagements, while updating senior team members on progress and issues
* Network and build internal relationships with members of the Transaction team and other FTI Consulting service areas
