WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR High school diploma or equivalent required Typing skills (at least 40 wpm). 10 key experience required. Computer experience required Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology, and/or billing and coding are strongly preferred.

Testing performed will include waived, moderate and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. He/she will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. In addition, this individual will participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA and other applicable agencies. He/she will perform specimen collection as necessary. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR MLT Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. MT Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university. Or Bachelor degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences. At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.
