POSITION OVERVIEW The Coordinator for the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Program will oversee the operations of a therapeutic treatment program serving up to 12 girls, ages 12-18, who have been identified as survivors of human trafficking. This role requires a highly skilled, compassionate leader who will be responsible for the safety, well-being, and support of the clients, as well as the supervision and development of staff. The Coordinator will provide direct supervision to Youth Care Specialists, will ensure daily programming and structure is adhered to, comply with daily documentation, promote a positive and safe culture among the residents and staff, and ensure adequate shift coverage. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SUPERVISION OF YOUTH CARE SPECIALISTS Oversee and manage the daily routines of youth, ensuring the appropriate allocation of staff and resources to meet both individual and environmental needs. Provide feedback, intervention and/or redirection of all Youth Care Specialists interactions that are not within the trauma response framework. Provide on the job training and mentoring to staff and lead staff in trauma-informed behavior management techniques. Provide individual supervision for each Youth Care Specialists. Evaluate the job performance of each Youth Care Specialists. Plan and conduct monthly staff meetings. Prepare staff schedules in a timely, proactive manner to always secure adequate staff to resident ratios. Coordinate and ensure that all shift-related client and staff documentation is completed in a timely manner. Ensure the maintenance of agency policies and procedures and the Department of Children and Family Services "Code of Ethics for Child Welfare Professionals." HOUSE MANAGEMENT Maintain appropriate records regarding all purchases and maintain such purchases in accordance with allotted funds. Plan for the purchase of required household and office supplies. Complete proper maintenance requests and ensure all maintenance tasks on facility and equipment are completed.
