Responsibilities * Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. * Safe use of assistive devices including gait belts, transfer boards, walkers, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts * Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. * Perform patient monitoring, including taking vital signs and reporting any significant changes to healthcare professionals. * Offer direct support to clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary. * Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that living spaces are tidy and free from hazards. * Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities that promote mental well-being. * Assist clients with dementia care by employing specialized techniques to ensure their comfort and safety. * Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
