JOB SUMMARY The job goal is to improve the quality of services provided to students and act as a student advocate by assisting the teacher in implementing all aspects of the educational program, to assist students to meet goals. This position is responsible for assisting the teacher by working with assigned students in classrooms and throughout the facility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Valid IL paraprofessional license is preferred. Associate's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education; completed 60 semester hours of college credit at a regionally accredited institution of higher education; HS Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS Parapro; or HS Diploma or GED and passing scores on the ACT Workkeys is preferred.
