Visual Product Designer, Applied AI Solutions (SCORE UX)
User experience designer job at Amazon
The Solutions Core Experience (SCORE) team is part of AWS Applied AI Solutions (AAIS), where we design the next generation of intelligent, AI-powered experiences that make complex technologies feel natural, intuitive, and human. Our work spans products that transform industries - from contact centers and supply chains to healthcare and secure remote work.
We're looking for a Visual Product Designer with exceptional visual craft, strong systems thinking, and the ability to turn sophisticated ideas into elegant, accessible experiences. You'll join a multidisciplinary UX organization that includes designers, design technologists, and researchers collaborating across Amazon to define how AI comes to life for enterprise and consumer users alike.
As a key member of our design team, you'll elevate the visual language of AAIS - shaping design systems, defining expressive patterns, and art-directing how our products feel and communicate. You'll balance precision and experimentation, working hands-on in Figma, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud, Keynote as well as more AI-specific creative tools to deliver design assets and presentations that inspire teams and delight customers.
Key job responsibilities
* Define, evolve, and maintain visual design systems that express AAIS's design language across AI-driven experiences.
* Create visual narratives - layouts, iconography, motion cues, and conceptual illustrations - that bring clarity and emotion to complex workflows.
* Collaborate with interaction designers, design technologists, and engineers to ensure designs are both beautiful and buildable.
* Provide art direction and visual critique across projects to raise the design bar.
* Partner with product and engineering leaders to shape roadmaps that balance innovation and usability.
* Present design work with clarity and confidence to peers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
* Advocate for Customer Obsession, Invent and Simplify, and Deliver Results in every stage of the design process.
A day in the life
If you're a thoughtful designer with a passion for AI-first products and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences, we encourage you to apply. Join us in shaping the future of AI at Amazon.
