Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.
This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The professional registered nurse Home Therapies RN CAP 2 may be an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) for new employees who meet the RN CAP 2 criteria or attained through advancement from RN CAP 1. This position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. As a member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) health care team, this position participates in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
All duties and responsibilities are expected to be performed in accordance with Fresenius Kidney Care policy, procedures, standards of nursing practice, state and federal regulations.
Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Educator, Preceptor or in collaboration with another Registered Nurse.
Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data for assigned patients and documents in the patient medical record, makes adjustments or modifications to treatment plan as indicated and notifies Supervisor or physician as needed.
Assesses, collaborates and documents patient/family's basic learning needs to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family.
Directs and provides, in collaboration with the patient, home care partner, direct and ancillary patient care staff, all aspects of the provision of safe and effective delivery of dialysis therapies to assigned patients.
Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s), and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.
Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
Serves as a resource, leader, coach, mentor and role model for new and incumbent employees by setting examples of appropriate behavior, work habits and attitudes towards patients, co-workers, supervisors and the company at the facility and area level.
Ensures correct laboratory collection, processing and shipping procedures are performed and reschedules missed or insufficient laboratory collections.
Identifies expected outcomes, documents and updates the nursing assessment and plan of care for assigned patients through collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.
Ensures patient awareness related to transplant and treatment modality options.
Assists in the identification, evaluation, selection and education of Home Dialysis candidates and Home Partners.
Performs assessment and identifies barriers of the Home Dialysis candidate's home environment and partner/ family readiness and ability to perform dialysis treatments in the home.
Trains home dialysis patients and / or Home Partners on the safe, effective operation and maintenance of all Home Dialysis equipment and treatment supplies through a formal standardized Home Dialysis Training Program.
Participates in education and quality improvement projects at the facility and area level as directed by Supervisor.
May serve as a Preceptor to new employees.
Required to complete CAP requirements to either maintain or advance.
Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Familiarity with standard cell culture methods is required.
Knowledge of cGMP regulations applicable to biologics and cell therapy manufacturing is preferred.
Must be team oriented and flexible, striving for team success and quality results.
Visual Acuity Testing required.

Essential Job Duties:
ADON
Functions as senior Health Center manager in the absence of the DON and Administrator and has the authority to any make decisions that might be necessary in the area of resident care, employee relations or emergencies.
Reports to the Administrator of the Health Center on the absence of the DON as necessary and refers to policy and procedure manuals.
Assists the DON in providing leadership to the nursing staff through monthly staff meetings. Functions as a resource person for resident care issues. Participates in performance evaluation and disciplinary process, as needed.
Shares responsibility of supervision of direct resident care; coordinates and supervises resident care with RN Charge nurses, serving as a liaison between nursing staff and the DON.
Assists the DON in interviewing, hiring and evaluation of employees as necessary. Assists with training and supervision as necessary.
Shares responsibility for On-Call duty. Including approvals for Health Center Admissions, resident/family issues and staffing issues.
Works on weekends on manager on duty rotation as Senior Health Center manager on site.
Assures that state and federal rules and regulations are followed in regard to resident care and documentation.
Assists the DON in review of existing policies and procedures. Writes and implements new policies and procedures and implements new policies and procedures, as directed.
Maintains open communication with all residents, responsible parties of residents, physicians, other staff members, and involved representatives of the community (friends of residents and staff of community agencies).
DIRECTOR OF STAFF DEVELOPMENT
Plans, conducts and evaluates organized orientation and training/education programs required to meet Federal, State and local regulatory (new hires and annual training to incl. competency skills check) and Casa policy.
Maintains appropriate documentation of programs materials and attendance as required by regulation and Casa policy.
Acts as primary system administrator for Casa's on-line based mandatory training vendor and assigns training to staff as appropriate.
Conducts one on one in-services with staff, as needed, to address training/education needs and performance issues.
Researches and recruit's instructors for training/education programs who have expertise in the appropriate discipline areas needed to develop and improve skills of staff. Utilizes available community resources for training/education programs.
Monitors outcome of employee training/education programs for quality assurance.
GENERAL
Participates in Quality Assurance Committee by reporting on resident care issues and staff training updates at quarterly meetings and serves on QA subcommittees as assigned.
Cooperates with the DON in completion of other nursing related short term projects.

CT Tech III FT Rotating shifts

*Employment Type:* Full time *Shift:* Rotating Shift *Description:* 1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 2. Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required. 3. Valid California Radiology Tech (CRT) certification from the State of California is required.
4. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
5. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) is required; advanced ARRT certification in (CT) also is required.
6. Proof of venipuncture certification is required. Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position.
7. Recent experience in CT is required, experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
8. Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations independently (e.g., be able to protocol them or work in conjunction with the radiologist) is required.
9. Must be seen as a resource throughout SAMC and be willing to actively participate on Hospital/Department committees as assigned.
10. Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers and demonstrate excellent customer service orientation is required.
Pay Range: $46.73-65.41
